And deeply frustrated by shareholder neglect which largely led to the pitiful share price ……….being negative is being deservingly true and realistic. Not trolling.

Same boat. Average here so high that it’d have to well more than double to reach mine. So these blips are meaningless on my part.
HC you are right that s/p is an irrelevance to company. But there is a place for morality even in business. The AGM farce was a result of neglect. Neglect is poor and avoidable. No choice but to accept it . It is what it is. But it feeds sourness. Nil/zero/Nada/niente/rien/nichts in the way of communication is just plain b*oody rude.

There is nothing you have said that contradicts the statement or anything else I have written.Fair value is an estimation with a pharma which has no income and no wholly proven results.Fair value with a pharma in tests can never be precisely measured. All evidence must be considered..and risk acknowledged.
If you don’t feel success is more likely than not ( as your stated optimism says) then there is no point in you buying.

I have been taken for too many rides and am a bit of a cynic re. business and the stock market. I err on the side of suspicion as I was once naive and had it crushed out of me by losing it all in faux-trust.

I agree with both posts. It’s growing out of Covid whilst tecognizing ongoing need for prime testing. Very sensible. The incumbent CEO will almost definitely follow in the footsteps of deriding and ignoring shareholders’ needs unless he needs their votes. There could have been a welcome or some sort of communication .
But there is only the usual Novacyt silence. GM was very communicative in early 2020 when it benefited them. Then “ I’m alright Jack” set in and shareholders are superfluous unless a vote is needed. And there was hardly an effort there was there!!! Give him a chance but it is not looking great so far. You see they don’t need us for anything. We are superfluous.
That does not mean they cannot be a successful company but I for one am soured by ongoing neglect. Unacceptable. If DAcontinurs shareholder derision then that will just lead to more of the AGM problems. A piece of advice for if you read this Sir….which you should as part of your job.
The last 2 posts summed up where we are well. If there is ever to be a buyout then the market will not want us to make any money and will want the shares following leaked info. So if it ever happens I would expect a sly and smutty share manipulation preceding. Been through one before where this took place. Devious behind the scenes affair. Rather like Rights Issues and their lesser brothers…Placings. OMG seen enough of them.

Market is a devil. But it does not reflect reality in many companies. It is now all about short-term daily profit in the City. They are minting it because they are permitted to. Whilst the rest of the population has to work for a living.
They have dropped Ncyt down wilfully in order to algo-trade it daily again. It’s what they do. We have to accept it.
Sell out or buy in cheap. No news is the norm until it is appropriate.
Flog and give away or accept what you may not like and the wily City tricks ..and lock it away.
As HC says…the nasty flu season is a-coming. And we need diagnostic tests. So do other countries. I wouldn’t trust the govt or Sunak El-Vunak regarding anything re. tests or funding. Whole govt. is full of propaganda-inspired bullballs. But winter hasn’t even started yet so any cattledroppings about covid reducing are just that.

Rcdm :- I was in SNG March to July last year and on the day in July it exploded up. I did well enough. I did not go onto another board and crow about how great it was. I stayed on the SNG forum. Please do likewise.Knowledge of Interferon -beta is not something to aid Ncyt shareholders. If that was ever your intention (?!)

I -if you hadn’t already noticed-have a personal dislike for unwarranted aggression or incivility. I think complaining and whining is just people being people. No excuses for abuse here or anywhere in the whole world ! Trolls on chatsite or nutter warped ideologists in Afghanistan . I have profound views on humankind! But yes…to cut to the chase, the comments by Gemma were meaningful and need to be translated into reality.
DHSC dispute needs to be put behind but IMO it’ll drag into next year. I have 2 court cases in action atm. One has been over 2 yrs and one one year. One I had in the Eighties lasted 8 years before going to the High Court in London. Solicitors are not known to rush generally speaking when being paid. Barristers are very prompt in general as they have a defined task. But if positively resolved it will be a boost. If not it is already factored in!!
So yes your approach is right in my view. I have always said just leave Ncyt in the drawer open-endedly. I still say it. Patience really is the key. But patience is a hard commodity at times. Especially when frustrated. Many many very short term traders are in the market now. I got frustrated too…and let off steam. I still hold a certain neglect-grudge. But I feel that the global market is genuinely clamouriing for what Ncyt produces…whether they ignore the common shareholder or not. So the pudding will be proven over the winter with new assays but most of all global contracts and hard cash to be reported in results. Thanks4 vid .

Thank u Kaeren. Is good to see real evidence of behind-the-scenes R and D whilst the market struts its disjointed stuff as it tries to relieve us cheaply of our shares in frustration.
The new D+ variant demands a diagnostic assay. A 10 minute PCR which is produced to be sold at a competitive price is a real game-changer. It’s like cassettes becoming dvd’s. And dvd music becoming downloads. Paradigm shift. Unless LFT’s become as reliable then there is no other real alternative but PCR. Covid is part of society. Like flu or the cold -also C-viruses.
Covid cannot be killed off unless no-one in the world has it. C-viruses don’t work like that. And they mutate around often waning antigens ( another peculiarity of C-viruses) so need adaptive and reliable tests and vaccines. Seems the Delta has made the Alpha C-19 virus ( Kent) almost extinct globally. What’s to stop the same continuing to happen? Each variant is usually more transmissible or deadly to date.
Adaptive worlwide vaccine R and D and delivery and continuing gold-standard virus-distinguishing testing are the only way IMO.
What company more suited to the testing than Ncyt. Watch this space from now to May next year. IMO it will all unfold. Not in a crazy frenetic short-lived £12 way, but in a proper integrated way now we know what covid really is.
It is actually Boz and the DHSC which have as usual caused the problem. Unfit to govern and unfit to pay for services. I have been directly involved with them since March 2020 and their decisions and behaviour beggar belief. With a minority govt. they would have had a vote of no confidence. Shapps and Cummings and the appalling appalling decisions including the present no-mask indoor policy. Vaccines will not stop another NGS and societal crisis this winter. But there are none so blind……

I think Ncyt are doing a lot of sales and we simply won’t know until next results and unchecked audit. Covid predictably has not gone away and just been promoted by dropping of indoor masks and near zero travel testing. The new Delta variant was predicted. Voilà. As you sow so shall you reap.
