One cannot know whether you have invested £640 or £6,400 or what you say …or nothing at all. We cannot know you are telling the truth whether you are or not. And anyway..you don’t need to prove yourself to anyone else, only to yourself maybe. No-one needs to know you are a high value individual…whether you are or not.

I have a very large investment too but at a high breakeven and huge loss so am also an unhappy bunny. But I have been in this game for decades and been through the mangle enough times at the expense of my holdings and health …and by G** I have learned shedloads about the reality of the market. Novacyt is sorely lacking in stakeholder respect yes. Fully agree. And I also agree that you do have right to moan. People can always filter you if they don’t like it.

I didn’t know flu was already a problem here. It was said to be on the cards. Another poster this week said their hospital was in turmoil already. Not even November. in offices…home counties and London. By far. Roads are jam packed just as before covid. M1 and M25 solid. It is here as if covid did not exist. A few masks. Just a few.

There are a few of us who did their research and invested accordingly.Invested. DHSC dispute was out of the blue. Being human I will moan when appropriate…usually. As some others. Fly-by-nights mostly gone. I already knew everything Steve wrote but applaud it anyway. It is useful. But we are human and Ncyt has not ( as yet) acknowledged that . And some posters don’t . But that doesn’t phase me. It’s Ncyt I want to acknowledge that we are not there just to vote. I would dispute also that directors and the company do not control the share price. Control? Not rxactly. Influence? Massively!

If it does it is just what traders do with shares. I’m not putting it down. It is infuriating and deeply frustrating. I held Trin in 2014 at £1:55. It went to 1.5p.
So I took risk and boight at 1.5p. Could’ve lost everything. Nearly did. Steep learning curve since my gung-ho days. Big losses.Fool. But if one is in a company not threatened by liquidation then one keeps the shares …it’s only the value that goes down. It doesn’t mean it stays there indefinitely. Nov is a hard one. So secretive.
But I would need a 150% rise to get just my money back. But I still hold the shares and can wait. It prob will go sub 250 but I doubt for long.

The only reasons not to be open on these threads is if that’s what you are like as a person ( respect due) or if you have something to hide (?) or if you are scared of others. Prob lots of other reasons too. And being open is threatening to some other people.
Sure..a lot of things I’m scared of ….spent 45 years learning 12 martial arts to instructor level ‘cos I was beaten up so much as a kid! So people per se don’t faze me any more ( unless holding gun or acid).
Plenty other things scared of.
So being open to me is important as it allows real sharing. As long as you are not so open that your brains fall out or you get irritating .
The more honest sharing on these boards the better chance we have when the market and even the company seem stacked against us!!

I’d also like to add that the BBC was very irresponsible with its printing of the covid drop today. In the article even the scientists were not suggesting that is on the cards at all. In fact even suggesting it is irresponsible. Food for antivaxxers amongst other implications. The media can be so fickle-yes the BBC. In my opinion ot was government propaganda. And wholly wrong too. I know enough to confidently assert that.
Over 40,000 new cases again and more horrifyingly 263 deaths. Highest for a very very long time. And it’s still October!!!

Covid ( and flu plus more) is alive and very much kicking and will -as WHO suggested-will dominate H1 2022 as well.
Nov is being suppressed by the market and may be complicit in this ( I hope not). But I am willing to sit on a stonking loss for as ling as it takes. I am far from wealthy and realize that actually health is wealth. I have specific reasons for knowing this.
All this aggressive/defensive white noise on the chatsite is just that. I am sad if people were seduced into buying on Friday by whatever means. But it’s still dirt cheap below£3. My average sadly is well over £5 .My cash account is £7:20. ISA and Sipp less. Poor isn’t it. But I am looking for a renovated Novacyt 1-3 yrs. A recovery less than a year although the market will continue to try to suppress it. Growing cash and diagnostic contracts and hopefully some b*oody marketing will only be ignored for so long. They will want their options now won’t thay. Are we prepared to wait?
Not as fortunate as some here with my average . But that does not impair my judgment- whether right or wrong.

If we all had that approach we could roll with this. You speak truths. Sadly Nov has an appalling track record. So I hope he is willing to reverse that. Yes it will take time. Hence my rather sombre and possibly unpopular posts about waiting.
I want to see exactly the same as you posted. But my experience of the heartless stock market sobers me and I feel -with time-he has a lot to make up for.
With time. Which means wait and suspend expectations….angry or not ( in my case ).

When a share tanks it makes people ( many not all) cranky and even depressed. Some people with the tendency to project their discomfort onto others do so. ( Projective identification in psychotherapy- speak). Very very common in the real world. Rather than recognize resposibility they project their pain. Referred aggression is a common spin-off.
Chatsites get so catty and aggressive ( some people )when people are suffering financially. Shame but it is smelling the coffee. Happening here. It doesn’t need to be done.
Few people are losing more than me. It hurts a lot.
Shorters b*gger off please. Narky visitors the same.
We are back to neglectsville. Nothing changed. If you have no patience then sell at a loss or just leave it and don’t look more than once/twice a day if a LTH.
Give it 6-9 months. Yes that long.
