Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Iceberg, agree with your first post in this thread. Meh RNS imo, a bit of “maybe there’s some gold” to keep the hubristic hopes up. I’m hoping your subsequent post wrt separating mediocre news from genuinely good news is proven to be true. ??
From memory CVV report 3 tables with different contained copper amounts based on different cut of grades. Using 0.1% gives the highest contained copper at 2.84mt if I recall. SP last I checked is around 33c AUS vs a peak high of circa 63c earlier this year.
Regardless of direct comparison or not I personally think this is indicative of good headroom for sp value increase here. CVV SP went from like 8c to 63c before rolling over and their malaise is due to no sale at the end of tehir rainbow. I take some comfort from comparing to CVV
"not expect" is the classic catch all caveat however
"did not expect the bonus of finding additional porphyry" etc etc may well supercede the previous.
That said, this should only inconvenience short termers and is simply frustrating for fully loaded long termers
It'll all come out in the wash I'm sure
tbf fairview DS will be correct wrt share price at times and potentially for long stretches as that's just the way these things progress either on the way up or the way down. All posts being on CGNR and predominantly negative just looks not credible as a a representation of engaging in honest discussion so all things considered I'll be sticking to my plan and thesis. And yes for any who question what that is its holding a core position and trading a % as circumstances dictate.
I've learned of the necessity to be flexible in outlook following 30% flash crash here after AA JV cancellation and elswher on a lithium stock that dropped 60% on permitting failure.

DS, what I am asking you is whether your questions are appropriate to your holding and the relative size of your holding within your portfolio.
6 weeks ago this was an 8m nano cap highly speculative investment
Today still highly speculative but on cusp of JV
Downside to be managed by control of greed via small position sizing
Derisk remaining holding when appropriate to lower sp average and leave acceptable stop loss margin between average and 12 month low
etc etc
You have 76 posts to your name on a single share and all of them appear negative. What is your actual interest here?
Note: I'm not getting into ramper/deramper back and forth here but surely you must recognise that the risk and reward here is to be managed according to individual risk profile.
Just feels like you have some sort of historic attachment here that's motivating your posting or maybe you are simply raising what you feel are pertinent question which if answered to your satisfaction would cause you to dig deep and buy? If its the latter then the investment would have significantly derisked by then and your buy in would be higher I feel.
Anyway I hope you are not too highly invested for mental comfort

Jeez, DS, that may be so but this is an exploration play with the classic explorer identifies resource and and gets JV partner in. Usually the two options are JV partner or full sale. Talk of a working mine and consequently probing questions of issues around a working mine are somewhat ahead of themselves imo. Its a perfect spot for long term holders to enjoy the SP trajectory into the EGM and use it to adjust position accordingly based on their assessment of where this might be heading.
If you are invested why knock it on the way up? If not invested why are you wasting your breath knocking it? Concern for the portfolios of others?
Note: I'm not picking holes in your questions I just think they are early out of the traps for where this story has unfolded to.
Joeman, I agree, in fact with potentially 3 areas to build data and a 2mt contained copper trigger CB can play this almost any way he likes.
Exciting time but I'm sure there will be frustrating periods ahead, once trigger is hit I'd expect initial market euphoria to settle and the real horse trading to be quite a drawn out affair (decided to keep an equine theme going there, did anyone notice?)
Congratulations are due to CB and his team on the excellent work so far and the unfolding story.
Potential third porphyry? Lovely. Who are we to look a gift something something in the mouth
