What a fantastic signing. Byju sponsor the Indian team for good reason!
DRB, I don't think accusing Directors of lying is either wise or fair based on the interim figures.
Rather than your interpretation, I suspect that LDA were indeed paid off in full as the company said they would be, and that it is the domain name that has been bought for £1.2m .... with only half paid upfront, so £0.6m showing as an accrued liability.
That domain name purchase may well prove to have been the bargain of the century IMHO!
And I expect the "friend" to whom we have loaned funds is Ox Distributing, helping them finance their Chill-related working capital needs (stock plus debtors). Not as sinister as you portray, just business.
It's only partly "what you say" that I disagree with - it's more "how often you say it"... ad nauseam, to the point where many past posters who made interesting contributions simply don't bother any more.
All very misleading - P/E or Price/Earnings per share ratio is far different to these hypothetical calculations, which are of Share Price/Sales Revenue per share.
P/E is Share Price/Net Profit per share (or "EPS"), ie after deducting from Net Sales both Cost of Goods and all the other costs of a business, including tax.
Hardly a competitor.
Dholakia are Next Generation Labs' Indian development and manufacturing partner, producing products for brand owners....like CHLL.
In my book, that's called a "supplier".
Back to troll(ey)ing.
I think you will find that Yahoo Finance information - whether accurate or not about CHLL news being due on 27 September - is available to all shareholders.
And also (just so that you don't feel left out, Billy 250) to non-shareholders.
No "tipping off" involved....
I am not part of a "crew", and actually didn't say you were.
"I just say my opinion as a lone investor" yes- about 20 times a day at inordinate length in an attempt to monopolise this board, in company with Billy250.
You are an absolute hypocrite, Vas - to quote a post by you about another share:
"What does the most damage to this BB is the constant saber rattling, scoring of points, and the endless tirade of negativity as one poster after another tries to put down another. What actually happens is anything positive gets drowned out in a sea of negativity.
This makes the BB seem unreadable, hostile, negative and actually poisons the whole purpose of the BB and probably puts a few new investors from posting."
They claim to be invested, pose as "helpful fellow-shareholders", yet spend countless hours, days and weeks spouting negativity about the company and twisting any response they get from actual investors who can still be bothered to rise to their bait until it becomes a negative.
Why would they do that? #Agenda #Trolls #Bradawlhypocrite
Billy250,
Have you now understood, with my patient explanation for the challenged, that £2.9m of the £4.5m administrative expenses for the year were non-cash items?
Terrific, now see if you can work out how much the cash administrai expenses were.
Always happy to help out a fellow “shareholder”. Preferably right out the door.
To correct some statements and some misconceptions or (in certain cases all to familiar to us) more likely misrepresentations regarding last week's RNS:
1. There were no accompanying Comments (dixit Billy) from management, there were however some Notes.
2. Note 3 explained that the loss for the period included a one-off item, the £1.2m to terminate the LDA Capital agreement.
3. The Consolidated Statement of Cash Flow showed £0.2m Impairment provision, £2.5m Share based payments, and £0.2m Foreign Exchange translation adjustment. Those costs totalling £2.9m are all NON-CASH costs. It does not require a genius or a private call to a CEO to establish that. If you don't believe me or don't know about finance or accounting, it is still pretty easy to see that these non-cash items and depreciation (also a non-cash expense) are all being added back in that statement to the Loss in order to arrive at Operating Cash Flow before working capital movements.
Fully reading the RNS, even an inept one like this, does help....
