On the phone to Interactive Investor, they told me that they expect to be offering electronic trading for AQUIS shares in a matter of weeks.... TTL (my buy took 45 minutes on the phone!)

I don't know about HL, but there looks to me to have been some sort of glitch late yesterday, at least here, and it was reported as way down around 0.015. Not good for one's heart after I had bought yesterday at double that!

You may be aware of the “dodgy dossier” by ************* (“TWat” for short) which made a huge issue of this apparent discrepancy of there being no sales to bricks-and-mortar in the interims despite commentary on the strength of consumer offtake and concluded FRAUD!

It takes a high level of stupidity and/or malevolence not to understand that manufacturers sell to wholesalers who sell to retailers who sell to consumers ...and that along that pipeline there can be big differences in volume and timing - especially with a test market.

I think the hostility to your question is probably due to the shared experience of the TWat’s attack on our company and investment.

Billy, at least 2 possible explanations:
1. Goods provided FOC or on sale or return to beta stores, so not invoiced in period. As a manufacturer, you need to give test market stores an incentive to allocate profitable shelf space to unknown prospects for the duration of the test.
2. Goods shipped and invoiced to beta stores in prior reporting period.
Probably there are other potential explanations. Don’t forget that rollout was delayed due to Covid and started after this reporting period had ended.

I think so too. The company is listed in the UK, most of the shares are held in the UK, and news of entry to UK retail will be telling to investors and potential investors (Colorado is a long way away!)

It is not a convertible loan note, it is a put option agreement whereby ZOE can issue shares on an "if and as needed" basis at what to me is a remarkably slim 10% discount to the market price immediately prior to each exercise of the option.

Unlike with a convertible, there is no interest cost, and apart from the obligation to draw £15m in the first 12 months (if they did so today that would mean some 17m new shares - only 9% dilution....and less if the share price is higher when they do draw) all flexibility is in the hands of Zoe.

It is a fabulous deal to accelerate rollouts as and when the opportunities to do so present themselves.

What a fabulous deal - cash to meet upfront marketing costs etc, minimal dilution on a rolling basis linked to SP, and great flexibility over drawing how much turns out to be needed.

With the margins here, I would expect strong cash flow and that we would be unlikely to need to draw anything near the maximum agreed, even with sharply accelerated rollouts.

Same for me with these shares in Interactive Investor, Abkaz.

I contacted II while we were still suspended, and understand that if you want to trade you have to telephone II for their brokers to get a price quote, because the shares are on Aquis.

At least you have the weekend (and a healthy share price) to try and get over it....I'm still very hurt, 3 weeks on from him blocking me.
