The buyers didn’t have to wait until the flanks were finally signed off to gauge what they were willing to pay, they already knew so the clock didn’t start on Tuesday.

Personally I can’t see us getting to the AGM without and update on a sale of some sort, although wouldn’t surprise me if the BoD take it up to the wire to release info

Of the Russian state were going to try and strong arm Eurasia they wouldn’t have issued the MT flanks approval earlier this week. Cya!

And I don’t disagree with anyone’s estimates of sale SP to be honest I just don’t want to set my expectations too high, I’d rather be pleasantly surprised. The number add up and the resource is there it’s just how much the BoD are willing to sell for.

Fingers crossed it is 12 weeks. Realistically EUA & UBS have to have outlined a timescale with buyers to set some kind of structure to the sales process.

Since coming out of suspensions I’ve been optimistic of 50p per share and I’d be happy with that, although I’m optimistic it could be higher but that would just be a bonus!

With regards to timescales the company has been relatively predictable recently:
- New nomad appointed just in time
- MT flanks announced when expected

If the FSP is expected to be 12 weeks then as mentioned it could tie in nicely with the AGM announcement this morning. It’s been mentioned on here before that if a sale of asset(s) then no shareholder vote needed, but if full company sale it will be put to shareholders to vote. Wonder if we’ll get notice of full company offer in the interim?

Certainly a lot going on and a lot to think about!

There was an RNS in the last couple of months that’s said an AGM will be scheduled when appropriate or something along those lines and I can’t seem to find it. Anyone know which one it was?

Also can’t remember the posters name but he seemed quite switched on the odd time he posted - he talked about a takeover in the company he worked for and the 12 week time scale, it seems he could have been spot on so we’ll done if you’re around!

Moneymaker - I don’t think this would have gone on for 10/11 months if figure(s) put to the BoD we’re too low. The fact UBS have been employed to me means there will be a large sale of some sort

Some really sausages log on when the market shuts.

- Formal Sale Process with multiple parties interested approaching the company, confirmed by RNS
- Flanks approved, 15moz confirmed by RNS
- Placing at full share price in which II’s lapped up £10 million worth of shares, guess what - confirmed by RNS
- A PI today increased his holding on top of the already 27ish million shares Today @ 26p confirmed by RNS.

That should tie you over if you’ve any doubt tonight!!

Although I’ve not been here as long as some, I’ve been waiting for the sale for almost 12 months now and was obviously locked in during suspension.

Not a chance could I gamble being out of EUA when the offer lands, is never forgive myself. It’d be like throwing a lottery ticket in the bin and only realising once the wheels vin has been emptied

Agreed Marco - Some of the BoD only get paid on a % of a sale, as do CITIC and UBS. The sales price has to be worth everyone’s while for them to even have gotten involved in the first place

Sanboy - fair point but equally Eurasia have the last non consolidated palladium play so the timing may not be great but there will be a buyer that just cannot let this pass them by, or go to the competition.

It’s like buying a house or having a kid, there could always be a better time when you’ve had another wage in but you’ve just got to bite the bullet sometimes and take the chance

Sanboy - you mention current financial climate, money is as cheap now to borrow as it probably ever will be where are PGM’s are hovering around maybe as low as they ever will be and there are people a lot cleverer than me that know that.

In a time of crisis PGM’s are a relatively safe bet especially when supply is far lower than demand. Look at the prices 20 years ago compared to today. Within reason I don’t think finance if the biggest issue for the big hitters in the industry interested in buying Eurasia or its assets

Whoever buys MT or the whole company - the price has just gone up big time!

If it’s flanks final approval I expect to see a big spike and a steady rise in the coming weeks on anticipation of offers. The good think about EUA is when the share price rises it generally holds
