Was the rise on Friday purely down to JUB starting to close their short or do you think there is more to it than that? I.e. new in the morning potentially?

I’m down for 12/08/20 but I’ll also guess a conservative £1.50 on final sale. Although if the sale price equates to the fundamentals I expect £1.50 to be blown out of the water, just trying not to set my expectations too high.

The fact VTB & CITIC approaches EUA last year to broker selling assets speaks volumes. EUA didn’t put themselves out for tender.

UBS were happy to take on the task of brokering EUA’s side of the deal on a no sale no fee basis also shows massive confidence. The BoD have all the right people on board to cream the best out of the scenario and in my opinion couldn’t be in a better position.

Precious metal prices are rocketing and if by the marginal chance a deal doesn’t happen there’s finance to fall back on to mine themselves (although I don’t see this happening personally)
