So what relevant and recent experience have you had in Africa or more specifically Tanzania then Dan, or is this just another one of your, sell HE1 at 7p or Ruvuma is worth $0 type posts?

Why yes Dan I do, the new president, cabinet and Energy minister is hardly a few leadership changes, it's a whole new Government.
For example and after years of waiting under the old regime we have seen,

The extension licence granted for 2 years and not one
The ARA/AEX farmout approved and completed
The Work programme agreed and approved
The Gov meet all operators
The Gov meeting with the majors this month with the objective of completing the HGA by end Jan

Hi Aimster, under the previous President and previous Energy minister I would have had to agree with you. Under the new president and Energy minister I believe any deal would be agreed quickly, maybe prior or concurrently to the shareholders vote.
Tanzania have got themselves in a right mess due to not developing their gas resources fast enough, they are short on electricity due to the drought, see below.

TANESCO, a state-run power company announces an unexpected shortfall of up to 345MW on the national grid.

The utility firm says that the Kihansi, Kidatu and Pangani dams are at critically low water levels due to climate change.

holy I think the market understands that flow or no flows come the drilling of JKT1 and with declining oil production from it's other wells that the company will need to raise money either during or immediately after drilling JKT1, in fact the BOD are probably working on it already I should imagine and since they have pi33ed off their major shareholders and funders, they will be looking for some other probably less than favourable arrangement in the current Hydrocarbons market imo.

So drill success or not, I fully expect the next dilution during or immediately post drill as that is the position the BOD has manged to place the company in, £20 million of shareholders money ****ed up the wall so far......

They must be making a killing on current energy supply prices with their 0.5MWe supply. We could do with an operational update + update on the sales process.
