A corporate and trading update from WEN today (note the change from WRL…), approval to delist from Oslo has been approved. Payments from Mnazi Bay in October were $3.78m from both TPDC and TANESCO for the month’s gas sales. Production was down in the month due to several maintenance activities and averaged 82 MMscf/d but we are assured that it will return to 90 in 2H November.
As a holding statement this is fine, all the paperwork has to be done and Mnazi Bay continues as usual, however 2019 will be when we hear what Eskil Jersing and his new team have in store for us, doing nothing is not an option so it should be an exciting ride.

I think Crusty gave quite a good summary in his post @ 12:25 To add, I would say that I don't expect to see any buy out of aminex and the Zubairs already own just under 30% of the company and 50% of the main asset. That might of course all change if the next drill discovers something black and liquid like.

Still it is the first Domino in a list of material events - extension licence, farmout, C-1 spud date and 25 year licence EPS

Much to look forward to, just hope we don't have to wait much longer for the first domino to fall and the gaps between the rest are small.

So our JV partner also 25% holder of the Ruvuma asset have risen around 40% since the 16th October and solo has essentially stayed flat and traded in a range despite being an equal 25% holder.

Seems a major re-rate is due here - £70 million market cap V £13 million - yes I know they have £30 mill C&C that is still £40 million V £13 million and solo do have about £7.5 million cash.

53.-(1) Subject to subsection (2), the Minister shall within sixty days after the date of receiving application notify the applicant of his decision to grant or refuse to grant an application. (2) The Minister shall give reasons for refusal or conditions for grant of a licence.

Certainly food for thought, the 25 year Development licence would give a very material update and upgrade to the asset value if you are right.
