lol Crusty, I am not sure what to make from the mail from Camerco as per sambo below.
Thank you for getting in touch.
Unfortunately, the Company has not given any further guidance on the EGM and as such, are still expecting for the EGM to take place before the end of November.
The Company is aware however of the timelines and will update shareholders as appropriate.
Best wishes,
Either they are about to release the circular this week or the PR company are nuts :0)
RE: Update.Make of it what you will...13 Nov 2018 13:50
Could they not still issue the circular without the licence and also still hold the vote on the basis that it is dependent on said licence or even on the basis of "in principal" wording from the Gov?

"Unfortunately, the Company has not given any further guidance on the EGM and as such, are still expecting for the EGM to take place before the end of November."
Maybe the Bod have branched out and have some sort of quantum box a bit like Schrodingers cat, the licence is both issued and not at the same time and is in some weird super position ;)
Unfortunately it's just par for the course with AEX and the Tanzanian timelines steve. Still they are not late yet, although they may well be before the week is out!
dunder, I was not patronising you at all, it was a serious question. I work with Governments all the time waiting on licences and when we communicate to the customer (not shareholders) we give a range for delivery based on the average return time.
Do you think they should not give an expected date based on Government ministerial sign offs then dunder? And just say we will publish the circular when the minister signs the document?
Yes it's not cast in stone by any means, but if they are to hit their Expected date for the EGM then it would need to be this week that they publish.
From the Aminex Web site.
"When is the EGM for the farm out deal?" "The Company is actively working on the Circular, which will include an updated CPR. Aminex EXPECTS that the EGM will be held prior to the end of November."
Maybe not Tarry and certainly not for the Farmout deal (expressed my disappointment multiple times) However on balance you have to recognise the significant exploration and appraised resources over Ntorya as well as the reprocessing of KN-1 data that led to the discovery of "the previous team" missing the deeper target.
So all the BOD involved with the KN-1 drill (including the Geologist) have since left the company and good on the new BOD for spotting the error must be the conclusion.
"deliberately separated" nicely put Crusty ;) Yes condensate aside, I am not suggesting it is oil only that the Jurassic limestone is closer to the source rock and is where Mike Rego has detailed the potential for oil.
The official line from Aminex is,
"Can you confirm that the deeper target at CH-1 is oil or condensate?" "The deeper Jurassic target is exploratory and does have potential to contain liquids, however the Company’s basin model assumes it is gas."
Happy for it to be a gas discovery, even happier if it's oil bearing!
Yes Jurassic, I knew what you meant ;) Certainly they have had long enough since the submission and certainly seems to have been deliberately missed out. This is the most likely Geological layer for oil is it not?
Thanks Crusty, I just wonder why it was not included in the last CPR, there is no additional data since other than the modelling already done and the 2D seismic. I know it was always a potential target but just seems strange the way the news is being released?
Thinking of which, along with the licence extension I wonder what will be revealed in the updated CPR, some information on the additional 900 BCF giip C-1 drill target or more additions to the 5TCF giip and 763 BCF 2C?

No Frank nothing is set in stone when it comes to a Government minister signing a document - "EXPECTED" see below from the Aminex Q&A

But yes it might put pressure on the SP if not delivered this week and more so if it is delayed longer, if at all of course.
