Hi Panch, no idea, not much seems to get declared to the market when it comes to Tanzania and unless there is a firm and conditional offer like the Zubair/AEX FO & even then we are told nothing about the delays or the reasons due to Tanz.gov news blackouts till they approve. I remember NR telling me that it can take weeks to get an RNS approved by the Tanz gov before it is published in the UK as they ask for individual words to be changed etc etc.

I still think the AEX/Zubair FO completion is the key catalyst for any other type of M&A in Tanzania, including solos 25%

You were talking about the build up to news ref Ruvuma, so 30% up since the 1st of July. Anyway, looking at AEX and SOLO no one expects anything but an extension based on previous performance from the Tanz Gov. They have had their palms crossed with silver a month ago (CGT) and still no movement.

Can't help thinking that there is more going on in the background in Tanzania, AEX, WEN, SOLO all saying they are looking to buy/merge/Farmout or in solo's case sell.

We may well see some consolidation post AEX/Zubair farmout….if it ever happens that its :)

If they get the right kind of offer then I agree steve. Catch 22, probably be worth a big bucket more post C-1 and then a huge amount more with a 25 year development licence.

SOLO have already drawn down $500,000 of the $5mill yet they have the money for the firm budget. I asked the BOD about that and it is in preparation for a cash call from the operator to start prep should the FO complete on the 14th July.

They can spud and drill during the current licence imo, providing the Gov sanction the AEX/Zubair FO of course.
