Morning I don't think so OD2 all the infrastructure is already in place or being built as far as main gas pipelines and power plants are concerned & the only two outstanding points I am aware of are;

1.0 Total and the Chinese are approaching final investment decision (FID) on the Uganda/Tanz Oil pipeline
2.0 It has not been announced who will build the 33Km pipeline from Ruvuma to the main gas inlet. (this wont be made public till after the Farmout and possibly post C1 and FFD plan + 25 year licence

Hi Steve, just trading in a range, drop today well over done V trades as John pointed out.

Longstop is the 31st, lets see if they get the FO over the line between now and then, 2 more weeks for either another extension or heavens above FO completion.

Hi grsshaw, my own belief is that the Omani/AEX FArmout completion is the catalyst for further M&A in Tanzania between the various players, Zubairs/AEX/WEN/ORCA/SOLO

They have all given interviews/PR recently indicating they are looking at M&A in Tanzania.

FO by the end of the month or not is all any investor is interested in. I see the Tanzanians had a signing ceremony with two Chinese firms the other day over some road building project with an estimated investment $ less than the implied Zubair investment in Ruvuma.

Wonder if any Zubair/AEX FO will gain the same press attention?

Guess it depends on if and when the Tanz Gov sign the Farmout. The longstop is the last expected date (yes I know again!) so conceivably any day between now and the 31st July. Who knows John, maybe that special charter Omani plane that lands on Sunday the 18th brings Zubair representation for a signing ceremony? Long shot on a lockstop maybe but they had a big signing ceremony in Tanzania the other day with a couple of Chinese firms on a road building deal & project with a spend less than the Ruvuma development.

Interesting as we know it has not gone on salaries and we know SOLO drew down an additional $500,000 for cash calls for Ruvuma, so they appear to be spending in preparation for works over Ruvuma.
