Looks like the correction is done and out of the way.

There is only one road/track from the Luansobe licence area which leads directly to the Mufulira mine/processing complex, a short distance away making it the prime choice for ore treatment imo.

Metallurgy, initially for the oxide ore must be key. Mufulira does have an oxide treatment facility (heap leach) but is this compatible with Luansobe ore? JLP have tested the Luansobe ore and are in collaboration with Mopani, so could JLP and their expertise, chip-in and fine-tune the existing facility thereby gaining maximum recovery at Mufulira with a corresponding treatment charge to Galileo as a third party supplier.

Maybe JLP could task the project themselves to 'design, implement and operate the processing solution' using Jubilee's newly developed modular copper units again with a treatment charge to Galileo.

Alternatively, IRH and a remit to increase the Mopani production output to 200kt/yr from c.80kt/yr at present, could buy the Luansobe project and appoint JLP for processing or SPV similar to the deal reported today. Then there is the later underground operations (sulphides) to consider.

All options are open with a whole bunch more, not mentioned above, than the average proposition.

Right time, right place for Luansobe imo.

With Cobre Panama (1.5% of world supply) shut, Las Bambas (Peru) suffering from strikes, Escondida battling lower grades in Chile, analysts are now forecasting a 500kt Copper deficit for 2024. Earlier predictions were for a 350kt surplus.

The Mopani sale process has been on-going for the last 18 months with completion anticipated for the end of Q1 this year. ZCCM agreement only reached this last week with IRH as the preferred partner, IRH have already made in-roads with JLP. A Luansobe/Mufulira/JLP arrangement can't be far away imo.

IRH, the new strategic equity investment partner at Mopani Copper Mines has entered into a SPV with JLP today, for a considerable amount of waste rock (up to 1.5% Cu) in Northern Zambia.

Could Galileo and Luansobe be next?

More detailed works on mine engineering, real quotations from contractors and not relying on estimates makes good sense increasing the confidence with the lenders. An HZN scenario here and where would the share price be then?

Interest rates seemingly having peaked with a rate cut forecast for March and no later than May next year, the gold price has remained so far, above the $2000 threshold. The impending recession or atleast an economic slowdown should increase the prospect of further rate cuts and weaken the dollar. Gold acts inversely to dollar strength. Analyst forecasts for gold for the year end are, US$2180, 2240 and even 2400. Times are improving for Oriole.

Interest rate hikes seemingly having peaked with a rate cut forecast for March and certainly no later than May next year, scout drilling at Bulawayo, now after the wet season (through to March) would place Kamativi (Lithium) and Bulawayo (Gold) par for par. The perfect hedge! Analysts are predicting a gold price of US$2190, 2240 and 2400 before the year is out.

Gold and Lithium (white gold) the perfect couple.

One hedges the other and visa versa.

Correction - Geoquest.

Both the Bulawayo and Kamativi licences were 'prime picks' imo, selected before the Chinese got started buying everything they could get their hands on in Zimbabwe, by a BC Ventures collaboration with Goequest, knowledgeable people and local to the area.

The Kamativi licence area adjacent to and along strike from a redundant tin mine which happens to have 26mt @ 0.58% LiO2 in the tailings wasn't coincidence or luck, but an indication this group were ahead of the game.

The Bulawayo Gold licence area I expect to be similarily highly prospective. The Dokwe project, also in the Greenstone Belt west of Bulawayo, has produced some excellent results. Gold is trending higher at this time, probably for a record high only next week. Lithium is temporarily out of favour (market correction - short-term supply/demand adjustments) so as they say "follow the trend, the trend is your friend."
