I really feel sorry for the NYCT guys, some guys are really deep underwater.

The only thing I don’t understand is why so many are continuing to throw money at the problem, some are institutionalised with it. They literally can’t open their eyes to another stock. If you are in a hole, stop digging.
For those with very low averages perhaps it’s an opportunity but many are just locking more and more capital in. I tried delicately to warn them not to top up when it was £4.40 and just see how it settles but still read so many proud posts of extra money going in at that price.

I do hope it comes back for them but sentiment was always going to move to LFT’s.

If you are not invested that is like worrying about the weather on Mars.

We will also see some figures on some of the licensing deals, there might be a nice surprise in them.

This fight is nearly as boring as the wait!

I definitely think there will be some CE news before or at the results.
Otherwise Alastair knows the whole event would be hijacked with repeated questions about his missed deadline.
We will nearly be a third of the way through Q2 by next Thursday, that is stretching “around the end of Q1” to the limit

The news will be before or on that day or it will take something very special in the results RNS to stop a big drop.

I really would be amazed if it isn’t delivered by then!

My point about about money not coming back was people who were unfortunately buying at £12 and have also been ramping crazy future valuations.

I am not saying that money is lost forever but it will feel like that for some. For many this will be like water off a ducks back for others it will be eating them up.

I don’t agree with your analysis on the other stock you mentioned, at all, but I wasn’t here to even mention that.

Just people should consider other options before getting in deeper on the same one. There are a lot of other stocks out there. Thai can help when waiting for one stock to recover.

My main reason for posting was reading people with trouble at home over the issue.
I knew somebody who very sadly couldn’t see anyway out of their money troubles, enough said about that.

It’s only money, things will seem much better in a few days and might actually be better financially very quickly

Only money and the opportunities to make more are basically infinite.

Your time and health are finite and have more value than anything.

A lot hurting here today, genuinely feel for you all, especially the ones who have put in more than they really can afford to lose, that happens to many people and easily done.

I am sure there will be some sort of a recovery at some point, I hope it does for you, you just have to tough it out.

However if you are already over exposed don’t think throwing more money at it helps you, it really doesn’t.

Rampers will try and convince you it’s a buying opportunity, perhaps it might be, but ask yourself is it better than other opportunities out there, when judged on its own merit.

Do some research and find another stock for that money. Always better to have something else to help with your overall position.

Ultimately though don’t let it stress you too much and affect you personal life, it’s only money and not worth it.

Avacta have so many things going for them, I came here because of Covid but will stay for the real biotech/ big pharma future!
I sold all my other Covid stocks a while ago and moved it all here as it has the biggest and safest future.

We should just be careful with future valuation speculation at the extreme levels.

This guy was valuing NCYT at £70 per share two days ago... bet he would snap your hand off for £7 a share now..

I have moved around in many Covid stocks but was never invested here, was always jealous of not being in but always felt I was too late. Really sorry for guys who are holding a big loss.

However all these guys saying I am topping up... hmmm

Do not throw good money after bad. If you didn’t feel that money was worth putting in yesterday or this morning why would it suddenly be a good to put more in now!
Perhaps for ones who have an average of under £6 it might allow them a less painless exit.
But ask yourself, if you had been never been invested before would you be a brand new investor today?

Would you not consider that any extra money you put in perhaps could work better for you somewhere else. Don’t get too attached to a share.

Averaging down is not a magic fix, those extra pounds you put in are subject to exactly the same percentage increase or decrease in any other stock and in real terms it doesn’t change a thing for your current investment.

I really do wish you all well, even porky9. I am not saying sell but take a step back and think sensibly.
Money tied up waiting for a stock to come back has an opportunity cost, adding more money simply means more money is tied up.

I wouldn’t tell them on their board but the NCYT guys really could gain a lot by taking a position here.

Horrible for any PI to lose money.

Absolutely awful for those guys.

Although it did alway feel like they were still buying personal CD players just as MP3’s were taking off!

There will be no coming back for most invested I that, certainly not for the guys between £7-£12.

Shares can really have sting at times.

I just find people on a BB discussing corporate strategy of potentially carving out parts of the business amusing. It’s not trying to join some dots together, it’s completely making up the dots yourself.
