I am not sure PCR will have a bigger market.

Currently you take a PCR test if you have any symptoms, soon you will only take one if you get a positive LTF.

Positive rates are also decreasing so less and less PCR tests.

It won’t make any difference to skeletor anyway, apart from probably mean a drop in NCYT for him.

I have sold out at a small loss today (actually I do still have a tiny amount left in my SIPP). I am sure that avact will one day be a great investment but I, like many others am very frustrated with the delay on Covid tests. It is Feb 2021. I appreciate the arguments that covid is not entirely going away but I would suspect that this time next year test demand will be a fraction that it is today.

SNG is the no brainer covid stock for me followed by NCYT (although this is priced in somewhat).

I will look to buy back in to Avact when there is no covid premium in the sp. I suggest under 80p but hard to value.

Nb - watch this start shooting up now and me madly panic to buy back my shares at a premium.

Roots, sighed up 7 days ago, 50 posts. Dismissed for zero credibility!

Still massively undervalued.

When it’s 4x this then let’s discuss.

Really strange time to sell. I don’t think they will see anything like the increase we will see here but surely they could go up by 20% in the next few days on news they will be making our test.

People know the risks, they have not been hoodwinked in some boiler room scam.

Is this some type of public service you are offering, if so I can tell you that nobody wants it here.

I can’t wait until the clown porky9 has his next day trip over here. I will ask him how it feels to be deep under water with NCYT. Will also ask if if he is still confident of £54 in 3 months. Apparently he knows more than people think....

Look I really can understand the frustration here especially when we have an undervalued market cap and yet its still being eroded further. 30% since last week.

I remain significantly invested here, not in profithaving averaged up and buying all the way to £12

These are my thoughts, take with pinch of salt as its only my opinion....
We will break £ 54 SP Within a few weeks of the July H1 results coming out.... after the market has absorbed.
Two factors that will seal the deal from my perspective and result in the re-rating:-
1. DHSC P2 confirmed OR a similar Order stateside where i believe we are yet to make real impact
2. An acquisition of any kind that will show continued revenues
But as i say others have different ideas,
It's about to get interesting all the same.... GLA

Avacta do not have a test and when they do it will be owned by the Goverment and we of 3 will manufacturer it.

Avacta are being paid to make blueprint after that their gravy train ends.

We could be seeing quite a bit of ODX money coming over here tomorrow, if they are not too proud.

For me it was a no brainier.

Share dealing isn’t like supporting a football team, you should always change colours to the side who looks likely they will win, and nobody can argue with that.

I moved the rest of my Covid money here a few weeks back when my final part was selling ODX.

I will be staying in well after Covid though.

Keeping that healthy buffer though is stock you could have actually bought, so it’s effectively reducing your the gain you are getting from leverage.

Spread betting definitely has as a place in a diverged investing strategy it’s just most people get burned.

It might seem like a no brainer but there are also other risks to what you mentioned.

When a stock goes down you don’t actually lose any money until you crystallise the loss.

With a spread bet if the position goes the opposite way and you don’t have the continuously increasing required margin on your account your position will be repeatedly partially closed to meet the margin requirement until your capital is all gone. Unless you have a credit account but then your losses can get really out of hand.
This can happen very quickly.

Take the significant drop we had on Wednesday.

If you had taken out a spread bet onTuesday you could have quickly found yourself being automatically closed out on a margin call and that money would all be completely lost, even though the share price pretty much recovered within a couple of days.

That is why spread bettings firms have to carry all the warnings that 82% of people loses money.

Spread betting is exactly what it’s says, betting, it isn’t investing, you actually don’t own any stocks and should the share get to the point of paying dividends you would not receive any.

There is place for spread besting but not for your average investor.

I realise this basic stuff to most people but it’s definitely not comparable to a stocks and share ISA.

Well perhaps let’s hope it is AFFIMER based instead, then we are golden.
