I totally agree though Avacta is valued on future value, currently massively because of the LFT potential, if orders don’t come soon that sentiment will change and yes the SP will go down. Thankfully I think there will be enough in the tank though to ride out to Avactas well published longer term game plan.

The PE ratio is low because the market doesn’t believe the current profit-earnings are sustainable for very long.

Once the board communicate how they plan for life after a Covid or get involved is some M&A (I think the latter could be likely) that is when the PE ration will be judged accordingly.

It really is that simple, there is no conspiracy with the SP, it’s worth what people think it’s worth.

AZ's model is making drugs that have a life of 30 years, ideally for chronic conditions so there is a repeat prescription every month.

Very much doubt Astra Zeneca want to get involved in the LFT market, seems to scrappy for them.

Somebody already on the Porton Down approved list would make sense

But no saying if it has been through or is going through Porton Down, so probably for the international market.

In an ideal world for me Avacta would be the partner.

What make you so certain that the LFT will be home use immediately? Where will it be CE marked and will it have been through Porton Down?

I am heavily invested in Avacta but have also put some in here.

If Avacta didn't have all the other future non covid related stuff I would be taking a lot of my profit off the table, the certainty of LTF revenue has definitely diminished.

I don’t think they give Doxrubacin to anyone over the age of 60 because of the toxic effects.

Given cancer typically comes with age surely it must double the potential market.

Funny how people think the government should react though compared to where they are invested. I bought a few shares in NYCT, all the LTH were slating Lateral flow for the last 6 months, as soon as they said they were bringing one to market everyone there can’t wait...

I have been a massive fan of Avacta every since I bought in at £2.50. I have loved this share with all it can do but I’ve now lost confidence and I’m off to pastures new. I bought a modest holding in ODX yesterday and I will sell here for a big loss and go all in there. I’m so sorry as I love this share and Sir Al was my Big Hero until recently. Maybe I will be back if I don’t make money in ODX.

Not forgetting you lost 18% on Avacta when you sold

The cheapest you could buy ODX was 59 on the spread and you didn’t sell at 77 either.

Yeah, that’s more like it. I reckon £30-40/ share in the next 12 months. We will dominate the European market and the yanks won’t be able to keep away when they see us being Europe’s saviour. Few years for the cancer treatment to really kick in but when it does oh boy oh boy KA-BOOM
