How do you use extra funds to eradicate a loss, what sorcery is that?

Soon PCR will be the 2nd line of defence with LFT taking the lead, it will move this way for travel, not a bad thing for Novacyt though as they have both.

Big hero, what did you do with the ODX you bought at 62. It only went down from there, so you are still holding that “day trade” for a month at a 22% loss..?

Bought more at 62, sell price set at 68.5 for my day trade. Then comes the RNS. Wonderful. This share is making me a very rich man

I have had all profit vanish on Avacta, 80% return and a very big sum! Confident it will come back but won’t make the same mistake again of not taking some profit along the way.

I guarantee everybody will do the same here.

I think there is money to be made here if you are in at the right level and realistic about your target

Not for rainbow chasers though, no money for them, only loss, pain, frustration and anger. You can spot it a mile away, failure has a certain smell.

What games you helmet.. and what the F does this have to do with Avacta. You are obsessed, and that clearly is your big downfall when it comes to investing, far too emotional about a stock. Child like really.

I suggested the company might want to RNS something positive, I doubt many would disagree with that..

These are my thoughts, take with pinch of salt as its only my opinion....
We will break £ 54 SP Within a few weeks of the July H1 results coming out.... after the market has absorbed.
Two factors that will seal the deal from my perspective and result in the re-rating:-
1. DHSC P2 confirmed OR a similar Order stateside where i believe we are yet to make real impact
2. An acquisition of any kind that will show continued revenues
But as i say others have different ideas,

You are right my opinion does count for jack although that is no less than yours.

The only difference being my opinion has been a lot closer to actual than yours.

I am also thankfully sitting on profit here, very small, only 1% but much better than being in a deep hole. ;-)

Perhaps they should try a different approach then and put some RNS’s out. Might give some investors some confidence, and you never know people might even start buying shares.

Although if something is material then they don’t have any choice but to RNS.

You know somebody isn’t invested at all when the pull this one.
There is no such thing as a free run, either you have made profit and crystallised some but not as much as you could have, and still have capital invested or you don’t.
That money could just as easily be transferred to another stock if you thought it would do better somewhere else.
Don’t listen to them when they talk such cr@@p and just report them.

So much rubbish being spoken, people taking advantage of a bad day.

The LFT market hasn’t even really started yet, countries will be testing for years. Once there is an approved LFT that can be trusted travel will switch from PCR.

It’s frustrating for me and most likely many others to see most of any profit now has been wiped out but just some more patience required, and a bit of nerve.

Not sure what some people are talking about, this was not a share gift nor did he pay over £8.

It’s a director purchase on the 5th July.

It’s only small but definitely should be taken as a good sign.

Just to correct something, there is actually very little short interest in this stock, less than 1 days trading volume.
Shorts would probably increase as the SP rises but as the level is so low anyway even an increase is not a concern.

BarnetPeter, if you see £2 later in the year why are you holding on to your “free-roll?”

Surely you would be cashing in your chips now rather than see it drop another 35%.

The reason why you aren’t is because you don’t hold any in the first place.

Whilst it is hard to watch the one thing everyone can take comfort from is the fact this isn’t a stock where the company has to do something massive to stay relevant after Covid.
The company actually shifted towards Covid to try and make some hay and perhaps it will still reap a lot from that that.
Ultimately though the company has so much going on that any money invested is most likely very safe in the mid to long term. AV6000 could send this vertical!
Not to mention all the other good non covid stuff they have in the pipeline.
So whilst frustrating at no point I am concerned about the capital I invested.

Why would you assume that trying to resolve the dispute quickly would be anyway in conflict with the above.

The dispute is holding the company back and will most definitely have slowed momentum on many fronts just because of the distraction alone.

This is a really important time for the company, and not having it settled quickly by might have huge impact on the future.

The company’s complete focus should be on the future growth not the past.

Keep up the sensible less rampy posts Porky, taking a step back and not looking for confirmation bias will also be better in the long term for any future investments.

Investing is about making money, anybody who doesn’t question is a fool. And you know what they say about a fool and his money...
