Lemonade, if the excess inventory is in the US, it won't be subject to the new tariffs. If anything, they have the wine there now so will find it much easier to sell with prices set to go through the roof.

Looking ahead there will be a shift to local wines for the US as they try to adopt a US-alone strategy. But I would love to have £40m worth of European wines in the US right now.

So it was the TIDE shareholders who voted against. Looking at their SP, some of them might be starting to regret that decision

I've simply calculated the "implied" post-distribution price of 13.6p from the current price after factoring in the £21m distribution and buyback of c 110m shares. I've not suggested this might be justified, rather estimated the implied discount this would carry to the post-distribution NAV.

For shares of this nature, there are often very large discounts to NAV reflecting the concerns the market places on the ability of venture capital or private equity to raise capital through IPOs and the declining cash position up to the point that they can do this. When they do, the price steps up a notch.

Maybe, but it's another step towards profitability for GNIP at which point the valuation metrics for the company change fundamentally. With all of these stocks, the issue is lack of profits and cashflow which leads to the need for capital raises just to keep the lights on.

Maybe not the game changer for TEK, which is either significant step up in business for SALT or a successful IPO for Guident, but a re-rating for GNIP up to MV of over £10m would still be welcome news for TEK investors.

Buchanan, I'm not sure when you bought the shares but I did the same on the recommendation of ST. Having topped up at lower levels - close to doubling my original investment - I took back a little profit yesterday and am sitting on a annualised return of around 12%.

I think if you reread the article you will probably find much of what was stated would still be true - with a little flexibility over timings. The big story here was all about market reaction to the new government policy/announcements but we're now looking at it in a more balanced way.

I'm glad you held on though, particularly when there were voices suggesting that the shares were heading to single digits. O&G stocks, particularly ones like this, are volatile but patience is usually rewarded.

And rightly so. The SP made short work of what looked like a 90p resistance level after a little bit of profit-taking stalled the rise briefly today. They have set themselves a task so there'll be a lot more attention now to the delivery but the price is still less than their projected 1-yr cash target so plenty of upside still to come.

I wish I were bold enough to add to my modest holding here but for now we have very little data on trading ranges which I want to see before I start to adding. Now that I am confident they are operating on a sound footing, I don't mind holding the occasional overweight position to earn a little extra dividend.

For now, I will probably consider upgrading my status to Angel given that the shares have paid for over a year's supply of good wine and are more likely than not to continue doing so.

Slide 28 provides some of the key financial metrics in the plan. You'll note that the guidance given yesterday was towards to lower half of where they expect to be medium term.

Simply valuing the company at cash plus expected cash release from reducing inventories would give £75m (£101p per share). But this places no value on their ability to generate future cash so you probably want to add a multiple of EBITDA to that to get a fair value. I can see the SP at the 250p levels or higher within the next 3-5 years.

Ditto. For a relatively small outlay and two weeks, I picked up a free dividend of around 2.3%

The GOP is run by Trump these days as part of his corporate family empire - his daughter-in-law is the party chair. The Republican Party has nowhere to go right as a credible democratic institution. It's run by a criminal family now.

Sold out 25% today. For no better reason that I get to take a 50% profit from my last investment in early August - but overall at capital loss so I get a bit of tax relief too. Only problem now is that I will have to think about reinvesting for a month for risk that I might turn the capital loss into a capital gains.

I had a record showing a planned purchase at around 50p. No volumes or date attached so it could have been an idea I had which never really gained traction. Would have been a great investment but if I had all the money I might have from investments I never made, I'd ...err, well I'd have a lot more money now.

That's what I'm not sure about. But presumably they have to file something for 2024.
