I was thinking that a logical step for FIPP at this stage would be to realise some of the value in CamGraphic now to first resolve the "going-concern" issue, to slightly rebalance the portfolio, and to provide funds for further investment opportunities. If their holding in CamGraphic is now worth c£20m, a 25% sale would still leave plenty in the bank while also putting some money into the bank.

Where are you getting the 6.5% figure from? I think everyone else here believes it is 9.1% of the CamGraphic share capital.

It doesn't tell you anything you don't know and completely ignores the capital reduction/return of capital point so take from that what you will. It was also a "hold" recommendation.

I'm not sure who is posting here who wants the price to drop although you do sometimes get occasional posters thinking that they can scare holders into selling in the hope that they can pick up shares cheaply.

Don't confuse non-holders with disaffected long-term holders who will be sitting on large unrealised losses and will naturally be unhappy with the SP performance and likely to be critical of management performance. Fortunately for older and more recent holders alike, things are looking a lot more positive now both in the recent deal and in the current SP activity.

40p now looks cheap. Prior to this news we were trading at close to 80% discount to NAV. The extra 23p/share NAV boost appears to have left us with the same absurd discount leaving us still with 400% or so upside here.

There might be a little profit-taking here and there but the SP doesn't even fully reflect the value of the grant let alone the value of the investments we held up till now.

That's just the closing uncrossed trades. It's not a buy or a sell and certainly doesn't indicate anything like £6 per share.

It's certainly how "normal" venture capital funds work. Nurture a business through to IPO then recycle into fledgling enterprises. It's not, from my experience, how TEK works and it is some time since I have seen anything that looks like investment here

I've asked AJ Bell about the warrants but still waiting for them to get back to me.

"The most recent analyst rating on stock is a Hold with a £10.50 price target."

If this were true, I think I might have found the funds to buy a few more. The only analyst rating I can find is one targeting 41p but this would be before the £17m increase in look-through value for CamGraphic.

This move doesn't look like it has finished for today yet.

They won't be able to acquire those shares until around July/August, at which point we'd expect the company to have made further significant progress and that the SP would be in a much healthier position so that we might be talking about a retrace from 20p to 15p to create another buying opportunity for some of the sharper investors. We may even see a few of the 11p warrants exercised by then which will provide a little more cash for CTL

Are you talking about the business or the SP? The SP can drop along with the rest of the market and along with rising gilt yields but that's not to say that the business itself is doing badly. In fact, higher yields will release capital from a business like this.

You'd have thought the SP would have reacted a little more positively. Never mind, the prospect of a higher dividend should do the trick

I think it will make another attempt tomorrow. As long as they don't let tango-man loose on his phone, it has a chance to make a clean break.

The withdrawals were mentioned earlier with the expected speculations. Personally I am more worried about the ramifications of a limited authority to create shares but I guess they have enough unused authority for this not to impinge of day to day operations.

Still in price discovery territory. Whatever our views of management here - I guess we all have pretty low opinions - the business itself should be worth comfortably in excess of £10 per share so a takeover ought to be at a premium. By all means take some short term profits but I will leave the bulk of my investment to run here.

Stop talking in riddles. If it is plain for all to see then no-one will be surprised. But if it is just speculation then it won't survive the piercing scrutiny that is so prevalent on this board ;-)

In case you forgot, I am one of those deeply cynical about the TEK school of management.
