Agreed: this has become by far the largest holding in my portfolio, yet I have no intention of top slicing, etc. From a frankly ridiculous mcap of £10-20m only a few months ago, the mcap still has some way to go if all those deals get closed.
It bounced off 1p, 2p and now 3p - and no doubt will do so at 4p and upwards.
Of course this is an uncertain world, anything could happen; and if you want some guarantees, put your money in the bank. You know it will be worth a little less each year.

Speed you drive (and hence wind resistance) a massive factor. You get far more miles out of a charge driving at 30mph than you do at 60mph.
I have one acquaintance with a Tesla, and he said he barely uses the brakes at all - slows down by easing off on throttle and regen braking.

My GGP isn't with HL but loads of my other shares are and their values are all over the place - for the worse - seems to be a particular problem on days when market closes early - will be fine later

I work in primary care, and the only way that I have heard about the trial is through my interest in Synairgen, not through the NHS, so I don't think it is well publicised.

HL have best webpage and app; you can place multiple limit orders if that's your game (I use them less and less); but their fees are higher than AJBell. Fidelity are crap. I haven't used the others.
Closing price on Google - who cares. Tomorrow we'll be up, probably; or down. Longterm, I'm pretty sure we're going up from here. And a product worth investing in.

The uncertainty and risk is what brings the reward.
If you're not a trader (and nothing wrong with being that); buy shares in companies in which you understand and believe in the business model. Buy enough that you can topslice a little and not be left with nothing. Be prepared to hold through dips and flatlines; ignore idle chatter on here; be patient. Your investment has only to gain 0.5% per trading day to more than double in value. You don't get that at the bank. But shares don't work like that. Nothing for ages, then they take off (or plummet).
EQT this year a perfect example. Drifting along at <0.2. Sudden rise to 0.8 then equally abrupt drop back to placing levels. Drifted around 0.5-0.6 then suddenly took off. Some news behind that, but nothing particularly new: we all knew that Billingham was likely and legal case unlikely to come to anything.
Take your profit now; hold or invest for more.
I think there is a lot more in this sector. But be prepared for bumps in the road

Do your research (not here). Make your bets. Suck up the AIM fluctuations, and allow your investment to flourish. Not all will, but those that do will reward you handsomely, and compensate for the lemons.

Indeed I think some people are cashing in that multi bag for Christmas, hence the fall.

At the risk of stating the obvious, this is such a massive opportunity if Avatca can get a better test.
Currently being rolled out to all frontline NHS staff and students, self testing twice a week - never mind that in low prevalence populations there will be about 5% false positives, requiring the staff member to self isolate (ie not go to work) until they have had a negative PCR test. Staff are beng told to regard a positive test as being akin to having Covid symptoms - you may have Covid, probably not, but to act as if you do until you have the PCR result.
If we are going to continue to mass test asymptomatic people we need a better test.

It was always likely to bounce off 2p, just as it did off 1p. If I was braver I'd have traded on that, but am holding tightly to my shares for the long term.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring, but I'd be happy with stability for now.

reality is none of us can answer with certainty what the share will do later today, tomorrow or next year.
Whether you buy, hold or sell depends on your short medium and long term goals, and whether you think it is likely that the company will meet those; your attitude to risk; and your willingness to risk current for future gains. Small incremental gains, or hold for the multi multi bagger?
I've sold a few on the way up, am holding the rest for more gains next year.

Ditto I've no idea who mentioned EQT on another chat, but I followed the link back in March and was impressed by the company, and discussion on this board. Been grateful ever since.

Totally agree -thanks to those who guided me here when sub 0.2 and who have recognised the potential here.
Still areas of finance to be resolved, but that's AIM, business, and life.
Happy with the rise today - slow and steady for LTH - what a prospect for 2021 and the future of waste management.

where do you search? I like LSE for light relief, and EQT might be the most balanced of all the boards I visit, but it doesn't take much for it to descend into name calling

Great news today but to some degree priced in with recent rise I think - having said that I think this will continue to rise going forward, but not surprised it hasn't shot up today; that usually happens with unexpectedly good news.

If it's any consolation I bought those shares off you (or some of them) and sold too early, regretted it, and bought back in sharpish. Will probably buy more - along with AFC and IES which I similarly misjudged. Fortunately have kept hold of ITM and made a bit on Nel ASA fall and rise.
What I love about these stocks is that they do seem to be the future: so even when not doing well you feel OK about holding them. As ever, a little patience pays dividends (although not literally, yet).
