maybe I just don't get it, but it seems to me that they sell high and buyback low. So far, so good - we all try to buy low and sell high.
But they drive the drop in price through selling a large amount; and then benefit from the lower price.
Or is that too simple?

Now I really feel I'm missing out. Why didn't I get one?

from this site there are loads of trades listed today, can't be bothered to count them, but 30-40 or more; from £25 to £9.5k. Some buys, some sells.
Barring bad news or a wider change in sentiment, this has found some support and will rise on good news.
That's my opinion.

a lesson in patience - I did quite well out of this last spring / summer then got bored, and seduced by Covid stocks & more recently crypto. Missed the rise here as wasn't keeping an eye on it - but back in now as underlying fundamentals good and possibility of take over even better

all my green stocks were plummeting yesterday - didn't have the cash to top up in all of them, but have already been topping up at recent prices.
Glad to see it back on the up - seems a no brainer to me in short to medium term, much as I love the hydrogen stocks too

Given all the hype over the weekend, I imagine many sold on the spike and have bought back in 10-20% cheaper, or are planning to in next couple of days.
Of course always a risk of being left behind by news, but many will have done that

I'm busy trying to mobilise some cash to buy these plummeting green stocks. ONly question being when to catch the falling knife

interesting that in the bloodbath that is happening today in green stocks, EQT holding firm.
Partly due to already having dropped substantially recently; but also because loads in pipeline and definitely NOT overpriced at the moment

Days like today are interesting.
Those that bought in cheap are thinking of selling and protecting what profits they still have
Those that bought high are deciding whether to add and average down

when you first try and buy a N American stock, it can feel daunting
The W-8BEN form on HL & AJB is about 5 clicks and less than a minute, and you are good to go.
Can't buy all stocks online; and not all in an ISA - particularly those that are ADS representing shares traded on another exchange, typically Chinese. Policy seems to vary between eg HL & AJB as to how easy it is to buy these sorts of shares and what you can hold them in - ISA, dealing account, SIPP.
Might seem daunting / hassle at first - and always DYOR - but despite Trump I've done really well in US & Chinese green stocks and EV related stocks

Only sell if you need the cash or have lost faith
Nothing has changed since we were at 80p, just a correction, profit taking, traders and bored investors

yes, that's true about vaccine day - but avacta and ODX both fell further after day 1 before recovering
More importantly, many people were already pretty disenchanted with this company and BOD before today, and many were probably sitting on a loss and waiting for a suitable exit.
I hope all of you still in here - and whoever bought my shares today - do well.

2. massive rise from less than 0.2 less than a year ago.
