I’m convinced ARCM is sitting on a very large copper cobalt deposit. These deposits are in high demand. The Chinese will be all over ARCM if the next set of drilling results support this observation. If we have good drilling results the market cap of ARCM should exceed £50m in short order, maybe even £100m. I’m in this to make 4x min. Hopeful more...

I can’t see ARCM doing a placing until they have completed a lot more exploration drilling, as investors don’t know yet what exactly they are buying into or indeed funding going forwards. We need drill results and future drilling targets at Kalaba and other targets. As I mentioned before, a placing at 10p, or even 7p, to a strategic investor I have no problem with.

As expected it’s Friday and no one cares. Today is probably the last day to top up in ARCM at a cheap price before we are snowed under with drilling results... Time for a share price re-rating!

I think we will see diamond drill results on Monday. The labs can be a bit slow when processing drill core, so you have to give them extra time especially if they are back logged. I would rather see a large batch of drill core results than a handful which doesn’t mean very much. Good things come to those who wait!

Given the problems with cobalt supply from the DRC, I think ARCM is sitting on a strategic cobalt asset in Zambia that every mining major will want to get their hands on.... if this Kabala deposit is large enough.... Glencore commissioned CRU and by 2030 cobalt demand for electric vehicles will be 314ktpa (332% of 2017 cobalt supply). See Glencore's presentation from May 2018 at BoA Mining Conference.

Have a look at GT Gold and Aurion Resources. Both recent examples of exploration success and subsequent share price re-ratings. We should do better. I’m in bullish mood today. GLA

The share price will be driven by exploration success. Expecting diamond drill results announced any day now. Agree CB, a Monday announcement is probably better. The market tends to fall asleep on Fridays. On funding ARCM, I suspect the company has several options available besides a placing - e.g. loan facility, 90 days credit from the drillers, cash from AMED deal, sale of stockpile for US$1m, etc.

On very good drill results we might see a short squeeze! Wouldn't that be fun? Lol!

I don’t mind a placing at 10p. Lol! ARCM has 90 day credit terms with the drillers... So don’t see the urgent need for cash today and proceeds from sale of non core assets.

Thanks, CB. NvS seems keen to JV with a big brother in the future (post JORC resource) and mentioned cobalt grades of 3% to 5% in some samples. I guess we will have to wait and see. All to play for. GLA.

Fulmar, you’ve obviously been following this stock longer than I have. Disn’t Realise there was previous drilling at Kabala. When did they drill the hole with 4% Cu? I think the share price decline is a reflection of grade expectation vs actual ie we all expected grades to be closer to the trenching results - which frankly would reflect a USD1bn Cu deposit if that were the case! We may still get this type of result. Need to wait for more drilling results and I’m not selling a single share until they drill much further North with the soil anomalies. There could be something big up there

I also don't understand the sell-off. I'm sure NvS has seen the share price decline and will make more effort with writing a bullish press release in the next day or so. In this bear market, where ARCM's shareholder base is mainly private punters, the CEO needs to make a lot more effort on the PR front and not hold back.

By my calculations ARCM should now be starting to drill North. If they completed 19 diamond drill holes on September 11, and assuming 2-3 diamond holes per week, they should now be on KDD22, KDD23, KDD24, KDD25. These are 1km apart and test the strike length going North (see page 13 of the corporate presentation). If one or more come good then we will have a massive deposit. Soil anomolies in these areas look interesting...

The market makers are trying to encourage stock out of the market by pulling the bid down on minimum volume. They obviously know news is coming and so want to load up on a few cheap shares. I’m not fooled

Jerry. I had a look at my research and copper miners (non producing) have valuations that are all over the place. Some projects are economic, others are not. I think for something like Zamsort that is near surface, high grade and open pit, then something in the region of US$100/t is not unreasonable, but if we are in production very soon then this number should be much higher and we move to a cash flow based valuation. At the end of the day size does matter and the more Cu tonnes in the ground the higher the valuation.

I think this week we will get at least 10 diamond dill hole results. The drill holes should be over a wide area so it will give us a much better picture of the deposit at Kabala. I'm looking for 4 things: copper/cobalt mineralisation continuing near surface (ie. within 200m), better grades than 1.0% to 1.5% Cu Eq - I would like to see 2.0%+ Cu Eq over decent intersections, longer mineralised intersections (i.e. 25m+), proof that this is a big deposit i.e. longer strike lengths - the best Cu mines in this part of Africa have strike lengths of 1km+ If we can get all of the above then we are on to a winner... Can ARCM meet Copperman's requirements....?

A couple of large 500k trades just before the close. Looks like someone has remortgaged their house to buy ARCM. Good stuff.
