Hi, I didn't make a profit, my average buying share price was 29 and I also sold at that price. What a waste of time and expectations. Now in UKOG and ANGS now with more confidence of excellent results, up 150% already on both with confirmation of flow rates and commercial viability to come in which case rise should be meteoric. If, as believed, south east England is sitting on a giant reservoir of oil, the results will confirm this and were talking multibaggers! Rgds.

what a sad story this is! New mine, expectations of good diamonds and forecast of becoming highly profitable and yet like so many AIM shares, now struggling. It appears that the basic premise of how to work the mine was faulty from the start with the result we now have. I was a long term holder since Kopane days but a while ago saw the signs and managed to get out without loss. Same old story, In hindsight should have taken profits when the share price was over double what it is now. A great shame, as like some other long term holders, I felt involved from the start in Firestone but it didn't work out as expected or hoped for. So disillusioned that I won't even think about coming back if things eventually change and am now invested profitably elsewhere. Regards to all.

How this, what appeared to be an exciting and prosperous venture, has now turned into a boring and stagnant share with little prospect of showing upward movement unless some startling news is in the offing. Can only hope for some improvement in the longer term although with what appears to be a miscalculation on the deposits, I even have doubts about that. I still hold some and hope to see some improvement although heaven knows when!

Hi Tanelorn , I will not be attending the AGM, have retired to Somerset to a little place called Crewkerne and although we are on the Waterloo line, my interest is insufficient to make the journey since investing for me now is just a hobby having made my nest egg in the heady days of blue chips and continually rising markets! It would have been nice to meet the talented Deborah but it is not to be. Funnily, I went to Latymer upper school in Hammersmith in 1943 aged 11! all seems a long time ago. I retired here in 1997 after 40 years at Heathrow as a Flight ops manager and now enjoy the rural setting! However with computers and website creation to play with and a large garden to manage plus voluntary activities it sometimes seems that retirement is not quite the relaxation I expected. Just as an interest, I have invested in the Sussex Weald oil companies and the profits are now seriously high already with confirmation of flow rates and commercial viability expected in a few days and, if as expected, will add another further few 100 percents . It appears that there is a very large oil basin there. Thank heaven for share ISA's to absorb the profits. Are you associated with FDI as you only post on their board and seem very knowledgeable about their activities? Regards.

Thanks Tanelorn, Yes I am aware of all the factors, just a pity things didn't work out better sooner but will hold on for hopeful improvement within a year. It all looked so promising at start.

What on earth his happening with this company? We now have a permanently depressed share price which is considerably lower than when the mine wasn't even producing diamonds which doesn't really make sense. Then we get the news that something is not quite right and the projections weren't as they appeared to be and since then nothing. Are we now on track and producing a better cpht that was expected or are we still below expectations as was indicated? During the period during construction, we were excellently advised of every development and then suddenly it's as if they've all packed up and gone away without a word. There have been two sales the results of which have not been advised since we are now being advised quarterly which I presume will not be until September. What has happened in the meantime, were the sales good, were there any larger fancy stones or is it a dismal picture? For heavens sake tell us something, after all, we did help finance your mine! Your investors deserve better.

Hi all, Had a rethink and decided to keep a reduced holding in FDI . I realised I was over-exposed but now happy with present holding since still good medium and long term prospects. Holding UKOG and ANGS multi-baggers is providing all the excitement I need and will wait for FDI to hopefully give a more steady improvement .

How can the BOD have cocked this up so badly? Prior to this there had been excellent progress with support both financial and emotional from their shareholders and then suddenly, its all gone wrong and is just another AIM fiasco. Admittedly there are still good longer term prospects but as for the present situation, absolute garbage!

Thanks, had a look at MYSQ, looks good and tried to buy with HSBC brokers but they don't have it listed but are checking and will probably include soon. Means I would have to go to another broker I guess.

I'm out too! Such promise too but they got something wrong. Still believe there is strong potential and may come back when things have stabilized a bit. Regret this as have been in from Kopane days and really thought this was the answer as it still may be but not for me at the moment.

Found the link you posted on here very useful. Hard work ploughing through it but worthwhile. Appendix 1 Annual LoM plan particularly interesting and gives some figures for comparison with actual result. It appears that the highest yield of carats expected is in years 2 , 3 and 4 apart from years 9 and 14 which surprises me as assumed it would be a gradual process to climb from lower to the highest levels. We really need something to boost the stagnant share price! A big specimen would be nice before the next results.

In September last year, lucio Genovese, non-exec Chairman, bought a million shares at 44.5 so he isn't going to be too happy with the present price either!!!

Everything has been going exceptionally well and continues to do so with profitability increasing all the time. The only problem is that the share price does not reflect this and remains obstinately at 39.00 for day after day with virtually no trading whatsoever! What does it take for the value of this company to be recognized to replicate the levels we reached when the mine wasn't even producing as it is now. It sure don't make sense. However patience is a virtue and I'm sure that with a lot of that, our long term faith will eventually gain the results we expect. I'm also in UKOG which is putting in an amazing performance so can sit and wait for FDI to advance, maybe a little less spectacularly!!

Excellent RNS, no market reaction!!!

Next sale 24th-28th July so hopefully complete update on all that's been happening so far on Monday 31st July.

In hindsight, was it a good idea to leave reporting of sales to end of the quarter? Price driven down by uncertainty of information and bigger margin to recover when good (presumably) news comes at the end of July. Would be we be at 39.50 if periodic information had been passed on to us?. Remember we were at a high of 52.50 in April in anticipation of continuation of excellent performance to that date but now, we are lower than at mid-July of last year!
