I have submitted support for the HH planning application as follows:-

UKOG at Horse Hill are creating a gateway to a future large supply of the oil needs of the UK. This is of national importance since it is UK controlled with no reliance on supplies from other countries at risk of political uncertainty and also is at far lower cost. The tax revenue to the UK government will be considerable. Permission for the extraction of domestic oil is essential in uncertain times and since coal mining has been considerably reduced, provides our greatest mineral resource. I request that permission be granted.

Would suggest that others also submit their support for the application.

Surely the quarterly update is due now?

Let's hope there's some good news with the update which must be due very soon.

Every day people on this board extol the virtues of UKOG, and then I see my investment bleeding away day after day ad infinitum. The share price is now so low that there has to be a tremendous rise to even get most investors back to parity. Is it not within the bounds of reasonability to issue an official interim statement on the lines of how well the EWT is progressing or something similar without too much detail to hopefully stop the rot? OK, so the company has enormous potential but it is certainly not evidencing this at the moment in its public relations. We remember the BB fiasco and the delays in putting out the information to the shareholders but the silence now is equally damaging even though everything appears to be proceeding satisfactorily. The market hates uncertainty and we have a bundle of that right now even if outward appearances appear to show otherwise. I thought it was a joke when some contributors mentioned a price below 1p but that was a long time ago and its not very far off that now!

I was also in from KDD days with a large investment and avg price of 29p. Based on the optimistic forecasts and greed,I didn't cash in when I should have done and watched it slide since then. Sold out when reached 29 again so no loss but also no profit! Capital tied up for a long time.
Recently had a re-think and thought surely there must be some value here so reinvested on what could be a ridiculously low entry price and will just tuck them away in hope. Much happier with my 1Mil. UKOG and ANGS shares and expecting big things happening starting next week. At least they're getting more oil out than FDI are getting diamonds!

Looks like everybody has left this board in disgust at the failed expectations of FDI, however it's a new year soon and I'm sure there has to be a turnaround with lots of lovely (hopefully large) gem stones for 2019.
In any case, whatever happens, a Happy Christmas to you all and to be honest, if you're and optimist like me, this is the ideal price to make a top up.

Anyone know the percentage price difference between a makeable and a sawable stone?

Firestone Diamond plc is pleased to announce the recovery of a 46 carat white, makeable diamond from its Liqhobong Mine in Lesotho. The stone was recovered undamaged and will go on sale at the next tender which is scheduled to take place at the end of January 2019.
The company is also pleased to report a stabilisation in pricing for the smaller, lower value stones (-3 grainers) at the recent sale which was concluded on 7 December and which confirms the trend reported by other producers.
