well done on getting the extra shares. I agree that if selling continued the price would drop but I thought buying would have evened it out and prevented a drop but the bears took control and ruined that theory ( you being one of them lol)

I still don't believe we will drop below 18p which I see as a solid base.

the recent drop doesn't even register. it's mm creating a bit of business on an otherwise quite day. Not much trading was going on till they started moving the price.

All just BS but like you say, the rainbow chasers just up sticks and take small loses whilst looking for the pot of gold.

Hold your good stocks if you know their good stocks.

I agree, they have really shown themselves up and it's been clear from day one that they looking to carry on with herd immunity and the easing of the lockdown will be for the cannon fodder amongst us. It's brutal. I'm fortunate enough that I don't need to go out and work and will not be doing so till I feel the time is right.

The PPE from turkey can be repurpossed and given to the dinner laddies at the schools. lol

I don't follow that rule because it really does prevent you making the kind of retruns that are possible by getting in to the right stock at the right time. Still, if you have an investing pot with millions to spare then diversification would be prudent in the sense that you already have plenty money and the smaller and slower % of growth accrues over time whilst you get on with life.

Guess that's why we are all on here on a daily basis. This our life whilst we are invested. I enjoyed being out the market for the time I was but the lure during times like these is too great.

I'm only playing with what I can afford to lose as oppossed to 2008 when I was trying to make a few quid.

yeah, things might have been a bit more straightforward without the covid situtation and the focuss 100% on the business as it was before. Still, the potential is great and without going over all the positives here I think this is like many other points in time as an investor. The magnifying glass only comes out when your money is put down on the table.

When I stand back and look at this invesment objectivley it's one of the best plays I've seen in a long time with huge potential for growth, which will have to transfer over to the share price. It's easy to grow impatient and I think that's what we've seen with the selling. People are chasing rainbows or a faster return which is fine.

From my own experience back in 2008 through to 2015 before I stopped trading before starting again 2020. I had jumped in and out of so many stocks during that time. Many success storries and a few scary moments at the begiinging when easily fooled and green. What I realised by the end of that 7 years when looking at what I had made which was a life changing amount, was that if I had held my initial stake in each of my winners ( the good stocks) the growth far outwieghed the benefits of trading and I could have saved myself a shed load of stress and worry over what I deemed to be critical decisions at the time. Investing can really be as easy as having conviction in your strategy and executing it.

I also learned that having a diverse portfolio as a opposed to a more concentrated holding of one or two stocks is not as great as it's made out. Having one or two that you have researched well and have faith in returns a lot more than 5 or 6 with good fundementals. It's like a 3 for 2 deal you get in the supermarket..it's just a marketing ploy to get you buying more and keeping the mm in clover.

I posted a snippet from the link in the recent tweet. It's nothing new per say but it's clear we are still very much involved otherwise why on earth would they retweet the information.

I have to remain patient and content. It's clear we are very much involved as per the contract and we need to allow them to get on with things and wait on the good news :)

At Citylabs, part of the UK’s largest NHS Trust - Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust campus, businesses have been using their world-class facilities to manufacture COVID-19 tests. International molecular diagnostics company, Yourgene Health signed a contract with Novacyt - a specialist in clinical diagnostics, to support the production of tests, as well as expanding its lab capabilities to support the surrounding NHS Trust hospitals.

Collaborations have also really come to the fore over the last few weeks; at Alderley Park Stream Bio are collaborating with MIP Diagnostics on a rapid diagnostic and mass screening test for COVID-19, whilst at Manchester Science Park, global molecular diagnostics company QIAGEN, in partnership with fellow campus member Affinity Biomarker Solutions and the University of Manchester have been supporting patient testing on high-throughput automation platforms; allowing labs to perform many and continuous PCR-based tests while continuing to research and create new commercial tests for patients who need them urgently.

I've asked the question and will report back if I get a response. I don't expect to be told anything that's not in the public doamain but they might be able to confirm either way .
