Yeah, that's it. We're on the launch pad. who cares what the price is right now. Once the market sees the numbers it's beyond doubt at that point.

Worth mentioning that we are not starting from a standstill or claiming to have something that may or may not work.

We are already manufacturing kits for NCYT. We are carrying out testing, we have also our own test kit but the most important thing is we have a global reach with over 300 existing clients. We are not trying to get the word out from a standing still base. We are hitting the ground running.

The amount of selling into every rise has curtailed the move north. That's just the nature of the game when you have a large seller who's determined to exit.

The CE mark will let the reigns off for us on a huge scale in terms of sales and market share which regardless of how the market reacts to the news on the day the bottom line will reflect the enormity of us obtaining the CE mark as we progress trough the next 3 Qs and beyond.

Lr being cautious was standard under the circumstances in a fast moving market rather than being unsure or uncertain of the outcome. He will have been more focussed in getting the products and services accessible for the market rather than projections. The demand is there now and how much demand there will be our offering will be determined by what can be packaged with existing products that we offer and also the new offerings on their own.

Todays price isn't a problem it's more frustrating but it will filter through imo.

Totally agree pacman and we've not by any stretch seen the last of the covid 19 virus, so plenty millage in that for YGEN.

No doubt there will be plenty of other infectious diseases that we now get involved with and the many mutations of existing diseases that we can monetize going forward. it's another area to generate income that was simply not there for us. Nothing over the last 3 months appears to have been factored into the share price at this point but it's certainly building and about to blow and I can see us making a move toward the £1 level over the next 12 months.

Took they're time to show that one. 400k @20p will look cheap in the coming weeks.

Agreed bakky...if the covid 19 opportunity wasn't seized by LR we would still be where we are and with high hopes of the £500 mill Mcap. The newsflow without any covid 19 business is what will move us towards the target set by the Ceo.

Now with the added infectious disease offering which is directly linked to covid , well, it looks like we will get there all the quicker.

Yes, it would be good to hear how the new testing facility is shaping up among other things. I think with the covid stuff as an added bonus it's good to know how well it's doing as we know the core business is doing well and will surge on the CE mark being granted.

So many irons in the fire now though the news flow should be quite rapid from here in.

COVID-19 testing service
Yourgene Laboratory Services based at Citylabs 1.0 in Manchester, UK has been cleared by HSE to provide a COVID-19 testing service which is now up and running. The service uses a PCR-based COVID-19 assay to detect SARS-CoV-2 virus RNA targets to confirm the presence of the virus. Results are available within 24 hours of sample receipt.

Indeed bakky. That's why when we got the news yesterday of the testing service for covid and also that yourgene will produce it's own test kits you know this was not some half-****ed idea to jump on the bandwagon but rather a calculated approach where a pipeline of opportunities exist.

AIM-tiddler Yourgene was on the up. It is planning to launch Covid-19 testing services.
The Manchester biotech firm has expanded its lab capabilities to offer 'private testing' services to GP surgeries, private clinics and business clients across the UK.
It is also set to launch its own Covid-19 testing kits, also for laboratory use, which it will sell to customers. Its shares rose by 6.9 per cent, or 1.25p, to 19.5p following the announcement.
Yourgene has also been involved in manufacturing tests developed by fellow biotech firm Novacyt.
