That sums it up for me. The covid 19 testing contract is the icing on the cake or at the very least the cherry on top.

well done on the bank shares cause it;s a bit dodgy as you say. It's a funny time with all the talk of lock down being relaxed etc. You don't know if that market will take a forward looking view that we might be over the worst. Imo it's about to get a lot worse if and when they relax the lock down.

A second wave will decimate a lot of stocks and that's why this one will be a not only a great growth play but great hedge. it's winner winner imo

All the info is out there and this is a genuine investment on a buy and build strategy that just happened to get a deal out the blue due to the pandemic. That deal will only cement further growth.

No rush on my part for news. The huge spikes on thin air end up working against us. We know the buy and build strategy is working well, we know we have the additional bonus of manufacturing covid 19 kits and we know the pipe line to America has been engineered and ready to roll.

Throw in our imminent CE mark and we will have some very good growth to come which isn't based on hype but products and services. Remeber, the Ceo stated he see us with a £500 mill Mcap and that was before the covid 19 deal showed any income. This will be one of the best plays for growth imo.

Due news on a couple of fronts imo. The CE mark and possibly an update on manufacturing of Covid 19 tests.

Also, Just listned to hayden Jeffries stating they were ramping up production of the test kits. All sounds good to me.

Whistler, I think the fundementals of the core business and strategy coupled with the added bonus of the covid 19 testing is a complete no brainer at these levels. New investors will see this after a quick scan over the company most recents RNS's.

It's a huge company for the price and what a great investemnt.

So under the radar and cheap at the price. Now got a significant holding.

I think we will get news soon on several fronts anyway.

The covid 19 contract is a very welcome bonus but the core business is where the money is regardless.

Andy, it was actually in the rns that came out regarding the contract with NCYT but it was unclear how far we as a company were actually involved. It's looks a lot clearer now imo

Just checked in on the info graphic and it does indeed state that we are manufacturing covid 19 tests.

We will do well from here as there is clearly some very good updates to come from management on several fronts.

That sounds like we have progressed to making the full kits? it was alluded to that we would possibly be requested to assist in making full kits on behalf of NCYT. I guess we will have to wait on official news to confirm but that is certainly promising.

£500 mill Mcap pheasable according to Lyn Rees and that was before the deal with NCYT provided any kind of revenues.

I've a good feeling that the buy and build strategy is about to pay off on a huge scale.

With a Mcap of of £500 mill were looking at around 80p but there is scope for more if the covid 19 testing contract is paying good money too.

Yourgene Health, the Manchester-based molecular diagnostics group, has signed an agreement with Anglo-French biotechnology group Novacyt to support production of COVID-19 diagnostic tests.
The tests have been developed by Primerdesign, Novacyt’s molecular diagnostics division.
Today’s deal relates to contract manufacturing services with Novacyt.

Yourgene will make use of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Citylabs in Manchester to work alongside Novacyt to ramp-up production of their COVID-19 test.

The first batches are expected to be shipped from the Citylabs site over the next few weeks.
In the interest of speed, the company will initially manufacture critical components for Primerdesign’s COVID-19 test.
The two companies may subsequently seek to expand the agreement to utilise Yourgene’s ability to produce final versions of the COVID-19 testing kits.

Yourgene’s GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility has the capacity to support the manufacture of critical components for the production of COVID-19 diagnostic tests, while continuing its own PCR (polymerase chain reaction) production.
Should the requirement to produce COVID-19 tests expand, the company may need to increase capacity to replenish PCR stocks and maintain continuity of supply of existing Yourgene product lines.
The company said it is well prepared to do this and is able to utilise its expertise in automation to assist in the scale up of production.

In addition to supporting manufacturing efforts, the company is also in the process of expanding its laboratory capabilities to support the NHS in COVID-19 laboratory service testing.

Yourgene's state-of-the-art facility in Manchester will initially make critical components - but could switch to making final versions of the tests if they need to ramp up production further.

The guys discussing other stocks can you keep it to the releavnt board please. This is for discussion of YGEN and also their collaberation and joint contractuall agreement with NCYT, as well as the many other revenue streams from this company. Huge potential here and we would like to keep it on topic for the benefit of all holders.

Initially, Ygen are contracted to produce critical components but the agreement could soon be expanded.

I wonder how far they have gone with this. With the numbers of test being done by NCYT we could well have been working flat out on this.

Our Ceo did state that it's filtering through to the bottom line so we are clearly making money which so many in the space simply aren't.

The guys who wanted a top up are getting them now, well done.

I top sliced @96p to stake build in Ygen, If the price drops further here I will be buying more with funds I have comming from a property sale that completes today as the potential is huge.

It's very much under the radar and still on the starting line in terms of the price to value (huge value) ratio. The amount of companies out there that have done 5 x and 10 x recently and they dont have a patch on the potential of this one.

I think we've done well to get in at the floor and enjoy the rise north when it comes.

It seems to me that the US just want to big up one of the own with this PR about Remdesivir. Other studies have shown it to be about as usefull as a slap in the face with a large cod. The US like to big up Gillead though as it drags the dow up for them.

Nope, the way forward is testing testing testing and try and avoid requiring the vaccine. Hopefully we can build up antibodies and create our own imunity.
