Yourgene will make use of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Citylabs in Manchester, UK, to work alongside Novacyt to ramp-up production of their COVID-19 test. The first batches are expected to be shipped from the Citylabs site over the next few weeks. In the interest of speed, the Company will initially manufacture critical components for Primerdesign's COVID-19 test. The two companies may subsequently seek to expand the agreement to utilize Yourgene's ability to produce final versions of the COVID-19 testing kits.

It appears to me we were working closley (along side) with NCYT and further updates are going to be interesting.

With NCYT ramping up to 8 mill tests a month they will still need assistance in manufacuring.

Yourgene's newly created contract manufacturing page on their website states they are currently supporting NCYT so I would assume we are still involved until news to the contrary.

Looks like this contract manufacturing was stated by Lyn as part of the plan in the covid 19 rns.

Yourgene’s GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility has the capacity to support the manufacture of critical components for the production of COVID-19 diagnostic tests, whilst continuing its own PCR (polymerase chain reaction) production. Should the requirement to produce COVID-19 tests expand, the Company may need to increase capacity to replenish PCR stocks and maintain continuity of supply of existing Yourgene product lines. The Company is well prepared to do this and is able to utilise its expertise in automation to assist in the scale up of production.

In addition to supporting manufacturing efforts, the Company is also in the process of expanding its laboratory capabilities to support the NHS in COVID-19 laboratory service testing. This is developing quickly, and the Company will update the market as and when these capabilities are in place and set to be utilised.

Expanding into another diagnostic test aligns with Yourgene’s strategy to expand the Company’s product portfolio and bring new products to market.

you've been here much longer than I have and I bow to your superior knowlledge on the subject of YGEN but I disagree. This is only going north imo Too much of the unknown is only a matter of days from becoming the known and this keeps us stable imo and then the boom.

Solid day with the spread tightening and the bid has been creeping up. You'd think they had plenty stock but maybe they know more than we do?

I think you might be right Obelix, news this week sounds about right to me.

8 to 10 weeks but the awarding body has stated on their website that due to covid 19 some applications are on the back burner or a go slow if you like. New could come any day now imo as it's been over 10 weeks.

Our most recent news but Lyn Rees is already past it and looking to hit the number again.

Every chance of more of the same going forward in to this new FY. With what we have lined up and in the pipeline he might well smash £17m and we could well be closer to £40 to £50 mill.

Need an update on the covid work to be certain of it's impact but if it's contributing the way I think it might be and with China and the US opening up to us we are in a great position.

Still looking really strong at this level and absorbing the sells. The offer has actually increaded a little too so once cleared I think we will move north quite quick. One good news item from the many expected will see us get clear imo.

Yeah, the chances of a intraday RNS is possible too so not ruling nothing out at this point.

Like you said, it could be news of anything. My personal preference would be obtaining the CE mark.

Looking back over some old posts and came accross this from yourslef.

That sums it up for me. With our test being 99% accurate and the compititon is running at 80% we have huge potential for huge growth in the US and China which are massive markets.

We'll have at least 4 or 5 bags to come over the next 12 to 18 months so our time will come.

I could imagine the costs. Yep, I think I'll keep it simple and stick to what I have lol
