Pure mismanagement across all fronts. Debacle of an acquisition which goes against common logic. They had plenty of chances to pull out yet they persevered. Makes me think they have a hidden agenda. Completely washing off their hands of the cyber attack calling it effectively bad luck as if luck has anything to do with it. Shipping rates are at all time highs yet they manage a loss. Either they have a plan to take this to the ground and take it private or truly they are amateurs.

Which if you look back through my posts is fairly close to my prediction of 90p by June.
20-day MA is about to bull cross the 50 MA.
Next target 89 pence the breakout since the 16th looks to be a real.
Only fly in the ointment and someone a bit more astute in technical analysis can confirm for me is the RSI 14.
It is by no means in overbought category so plenty of room for more rises but I do see lower highs over the last few months which indicates to me that people are selling into strength. Maybe someone that understands better can alleviate my fears.

As I said yesterday and last week a close above 70p would be good as it is the 8-day EMA. Now we have achieved that it is good but not out of the woods yet. Need 3-4 trading days closing above the 8-day average to confidently say we have turned. Momentum is on an upwards trajectory and by no means exhausted so all good.

What made you come to this conclusion? If they were winning the argument I'd expect that to be already baked in the price. As it happens since the 3rd of March ITV there has been 43 trading days approx. where it has been trading below its 8 day average some days well below it. ITV is on life support until it can maintain at least 3-4 days above that average and then hit above 73p it's 20 day average. Any sudden swings will be in case the lame Dame opens her mouth or some other catastrophic event

Must close above 70p today. If it can't today I suspect all week it will be loitering around the 69p magnet

Cannot clear 70p if its life depended on it. 69.2p is a magnet. Medium-Low volume today. US open will likely be strong perhaps Elon may decide against twitter and buy ITV instead and fill it up with right wing and left wing extremists to fulfil his vision of free speech :)

Well if there is a day to be going up it's today - US had an overnight dead cat bounce of about 110pts on SP500 which is just starting to loose steam. Let's see if ITV can follow through yesterday's bullish candle and close just above its 8-day EMA today. If it does close. >70p convincingly then it is bullish for me next week.

I'd hate to be optimistic at this stage but there are some very early signs of botomming out and momentum turning (only just) RSI is flirting with oversold and normal territory - very tentative at the moment. A bad market day and down she goes

Look at 2007-2008 nickel spot prices same pattern as now. Back then approximately 80% fall. Think we are in a commodity super cycle? Think again
