Here we go again 69p8 Jun 2022 11:08
I see some of my posts have been removed - Clearly the boomers of this board that hold on to ITV for years and are in denial, have stubbornly dug their heels in and just carry paper losses in the hope of a bid materialising (probably when their grand kids grow up), thus reporting the truth of my posts. As always truth hurts (you will also hear the truth from a nutter and children as a saying goes in my country - and both of these I am :)
We are grinding down as predicted (look through my posts) something that others here can't seem to want to accept and talk of bids, speculate about what Liberty are likely to do (I can tell you now sweet FA - they will keep this ship down and control it so that no one else can have it), talk about the World Cup and how this might be able to turn things around (swallows and summers), post ridiculous valuations from automaton websites like simply Wall Street and other clutching at straws articles.
Volume is now diminishing on a daily basis, the price is grinding lower, my investment is barely breaking even however my previous profitable trades are holding it overall up. I am guilty too of buying into the bid rumours that have been circulating for years.
The outlook looks terrible and if my macro view is right the pain trade one October will see ITV getting in to new depths. Do not underestimate the sell-off that is coming. Summer will be sort of a reprieve (opportunity to sell).
Only stocks that will survive are the usual energy, mining of which UK has plenty. Careful with your pickings
