As a sort of antidote to boredom, wouldn't it be good if at the same time as the oocs is being sorted Zaza is also negotiating the deal with BP, all to be signed off together within the next few weeks. This would explain the total silence.

There may not be a re-list in that case, just a big fat dividend per share.

Rainbow, don't get me started on the UK tax system. It has been designed by successive generations of idiots and administered by incompetents (there is the odd exception to this but they are rare). It is vastly over complicated and is not fit for purpose.

I am no longer part of it, and any one who is has my sympathy.

Just because we are not listed at the moment does not invalidate any of the CPR data, the Block 12 licence or any of the field work that has been or is being done.

Of course we need to re-list as soon as possible for the sake of credibility of the company and the sanity of the shareholders but having "naff all" is just nonsense.

That statement from Zaza was after the collapse of YA when they were caught selling non existent shares and we extracted a good deal from them to settle. It is speculation of course but if Hope was somehow complicit in this underhand selling in an attempt to acquire shares it would most certainly justify Zaza's remarks.

BP have been buying back their shares for a long time. It helps to keep the price stable in a falling market.

6 to 9 WEEKS for a re-list, not months. Any longer than that would be wholly unacceptable and not even necessary.

And - as Tsbs has demonstrated, other pressures on shareholders are happening not least the ISA situation with the current financial year coming to an end.

Frr need to put this right and re-list as soon as possible. It should be an absolute priority after the ooc.

And - re-listing asap after the ooc is so important to Frr's credibility. Without a re-list the company and we are just talking to ourselves. We need to be talking to the whole world through the markets and demonstrating credible plans for the future.

This also has the very worthwhile effect of totally screwing the shorters !.

BP have already spent £2 billion in Georgia on oil and gas infrastructure. £1.6 billion or even £5 billion to fill that infrastructure for decades to come would have to be bargain of the century.

Zen - I think it more accurate to say that BP want to increase their footprint rather than need one. They have already spent more than £2 billion in Georgia on pipelines and processing plants. I think their ideal position would be to become a major Georgian producer at the expense of their major rivals.
