I am sitting on a lot of RR shares as well averaged at 104p, my time line is up to 4 years to exit, personally but i am not worried at all as I am sure I am confident I will get a good exit in the next 4 years a new fired up CEO, long haul flights back and the Ukraine war finished or at a stand still.

Motley Fool do it like us, throw a dart at a board with 4-5 shares on that we think sound good. :)

Motley fool is a bit of poison chalice, like earlier poster, last time i bought on their recommendation it took 9 years to get out with profit !!! Although in the end it was worth it after averaging down 20 times i made very healthy reward in the end.

But to give you an idea I bought a 3p on their recommendation and sold at 0.45p yes that is right 0.45 pence over 6 times less!

So just done the maths .... I make it about 4450 USD per day or about 1.6m USD per year revenue? before taxes COS etc?

Nothing fundamentally has happened to RR to justify the drop from 1.60 earlier this year.

So I am completely confident confident in the next 2-4 years it be back there and beyond with the higher passenger numbers returned.

RR is massively undervalued.

Just topped up 16000 shares. I have a serious amount riding on RR now and it has about 4 years to come good, i just can see why they will not happen.

Why will this not get back to pre covid levels of £3 or even a very conservative £2.00 to £2.50 a share in that time i just can see it not happening .....

1.40 to 80p is market sentiment nothing else, no real logic for LTH what so ever.

I say again they don't make cash selling engines they make money flying engines and they need cash....

The new engine aero market is going to smaller, which stop RR from having to spend so much building engines that take years to pay for and start making the existing engines cash cows.

It also has eye watering high IP that is completely written off in it Balances sheets, a largely unassailable share and reputation in the large jet engine market. Ignore the balance sheet, the debt is more than off set by the intangible IP.

Absolutely all the public news has been broadly positive since Feb 2022, with the exception of Ukraine of course but that is a mixed bag for RR anyway.

It makes not sense this 50% drop in 3 months, it like investors don't understand that a slightly under heated large Jet market is great for RR cash flows as they actually lose cash on selling new engines. they dont sell engines they rent them per mile you see.... So this is just great for RR.

It beyond me why this tanking so badly...

You could easily argue they got a 20% discount off the share, by annoying the issue before agreeing the price, as that caused the drop.

Looks like they got the full value of the share price at the time of issue, really annoying they flagged it up and it dropped 20% from 0.0025p to 0.0020p
