Hey bumble, that's interesting and certainly won't help the shift to EV. I don't think EV are really attainable for most people, all the incentives have been removed, most can't even have car charges installed at home,.due to flats and no driveways.

I was thinking the other day, if the energy price cap is introduced, technically, unless there is a way to see if you charge your EV, depending on the cap people will end up paying for you to fill up your EV, if over X KW is added to bills over next 10-20 years and your getting a discount to drive, when those that can't afford a EV won't.

Jokes aside, I do find BR somewhat useful to get a general sense of sentiment, and potentially how strong it is, but I don't make decisions based off them. Having good BRcome out for your shares is nice though, makes me feel I'm doing something right in that moment, even if it turns out I'm not

People won't care to reduce consumptions, especially the wealthy if it's capped. Most people who are carefully and do all they can will now be paying off the rich and those that don't care for the next 10-20 years on higher energy bills. These blanket approaches lost billions during COVID and will do the same here, no responsibility, no plan, just throw debt at it
