If people aren't allowed to buy, then what's the point and if more buy then again, even if Russia does roll over ( they won't) it means you'll be buying more, paying less , but giving just as much to Russia war chest??

Did did oil jump up from 101 to 105 ish during the middle of the day and the SP didn't react at all. Am I missing something, prob reading time differences wrong...

Your response was purely based on looking at the past, I'm saying it doesn't just work that way, there are loads of factors and it's environmental and depends what other companies, dividend yields and interest rates etc etc etc all add up to if BP can and can't hit prices, I never said that it could or can't hit £5. I would say it doesn't matter what BP was, it matters what it is now VS what else is out there now. Even at 50% reduction, if everything else is **** then it's not as clear cut. That's not to say everything is **** , just that it's a larger picture, not simply what the old Vs new div is

BP roughly 395 and oil 118 ish, seems disconnected again atm. Really hope something pushes it back up

Dropped another 1.3% since close, nearly 4% down + since high today. Oil price has t changed a lot, what's up with the SP, just seems to be sliding recently regardless, or America knocks any gains off

Oil down 117 ish, but BP NYSE just spiked by 2% in 5 min? Seems other oil companies did the same

Lok, easy solution to that 40% tax is just take tax up to "normal" levels then everything above £x.xx is tax free. Government gets there windfall on petrol at the mo, so why shouldn't that at least happen?
