The only thing that I can see is the 49% comment, which is exactly the one thing THG said would have to be in place in order for talks etc. though the comment about adding more debt would put thg off.

Most of what you have said seems to be more of a comment about Selkirk than what they buy, as it would be the same no matter the company on most points no? Your criticism seems to be more about your lack of faith in the Selkirk plan, you would also assume regarding getting investors that the majority are and were aware of this before they even released the up to 1 billion figure, or that they have it accessible.

Not saying they will buy part of THG though.

I can't remember much about that, as in what they were saying the reasons they think he should go was, same with I can't remember if it was kelso or not that also wanted it to happen. Suppose it depends why, but if they didn't want him around then yea it would create a road block of some sort making things less likely

You would think that if they are going to pick up a undervalued company, those will probably have shorts as well and have been driven down by said actions... Maybe. Tom say they won't come in because there are shorts just doesn't really hold weight. I'm not saying they will come for anything THG, but also once ingen is gone the makeup of the company would be different and a different environment for the shorts.

People were throwing around 500 mil, 250 of that were shares, not 1 billion, I was going off that.

I'm struggling to see how some of the comments about what Selkirk could offer would ever be accepted for beaut or my protein, can someone explain why it ever would be a good idea

They did say before they would t accept offers that use mostly debt, if that's what Selkirk are doing . Obviously may be different now

HL last time I called them said they are still in comms with THG and trying to to sort it out and wouldn't give any more info

Any Sipp or Isa info will depend which company you use to hold shares, for best and accurate advise it's best to contact directly. As they can act differently.

Broker will be able to run through options with you as well and what they mean.

My completely non pro view and opinion is.

You aren't getting 1 ingen for 1 THG, it's at a ratio. Roughly 13% of your THG shares will be cancelled and you will get a pro rata amount in ingen.

You can opt for anywhere between 0% ( do nothing) up to 13% of your personal allocation. You give up X amount of THG shares depending where you fall on the % scale

Or you opt to grab more than 13% of your allocation by trading THG shares at same ratio, but this will have a lot of rules and what ifs.
