Market cap is getting a bit low re 250. Think bottom is 450... And automatic entry is 550... We were at 680 ish at 45p and before demerger, so I gen going has wiped off a large chunk

Maybe, though I think they would avoid all having to buy around same time... Once it's official that's it's definitely moving / accepted maybe that's the whistle...

Do you know when trackers buy in? Assuming they have different rules, but wether it's usual just before it goes over, or when it's announced it is entering officially etc?

It's been one day, yes it's moving down, but there has been action and sentiment should change as the demerger has completely re written the fundamentals of the company.

There are multiple types of shares, not just ordinary and the new deferred 1 , I don't know what value / rights are associated with those.

The reduction of ordinary is clear, the deferred 1 shares have a total value of about £1. You would have hoped the market would have taken this on board, however maybe they only pay attention to shares in issue and not rights or... They are still on holiday and the janitor is looking after the shop

Technically shares are still in issue? So maybe they don't care until they are removed

When was the last one, Jan 16th? So 30 days is a bit odd with Christmas, but just say Dec 15th?... Ish.. the election return date was 19th, but was open to some way before so he could have made the decision binding before 30 days I guess?

Rock what's the normal lock period before trading update?
