I think RM's statement in the RNS "....indicating that it could be an important treatment in the coming virus season" was ill-advised, no regulator is likely to approve the use of a drug on the back of a small phase II trial (without even peer-review of the results), I think they are realising how long this process takes, hence the radio silence. SNG have a good product and good fundamentals so we will get their eventually but its unlikely to be unlocked in the next weeks, more likely into the new year. IMO.

The only thing that took the shine of all the previous news was the lack of peer review, whilst takeover talks and Emergency Use Authorisation timescales are out of our control, surely we should be seeing some response on peer review at any time, that timescale has to be in our control? When can we expect that?

My worry is the the Synairgen BoD are much better scientists than they are business men, can they deliver the product to market in the time needed to save thousands of lives in spite of an incompetent government who are clearly flapping in the face of a second wave. Where is the peer review outcome of the COVID trial, surely that is in our own control?

£161M for 5.8M tests means £27.75 per test, on a machine that does 16 test be day, thats a lot of NHS man days to burn.
