Who these shares belong to currently? I understand Link Funds Solution is Woodfords appointed administrator but I in recent RNS, shows Woodford stakes are transferred to Standard Life Aberdeen.. so lost track who these belong to now.

Exscientia signs £200mln collaboration deal with Bayer. Exscientia will initially work on three projects with targets agreed between both parties. Exscientia may be eligible to receive up to €240 Million, including upfront and research payments, near term and clinical milestones. As part of the agreement, Exscientia may also receive sales royalties.

I wonder how different are the platforms between C4X Discovery VS Exscientia and other competitors... do these successful projects from Exscientia validate to some extent that this tech does help with drug discovery I wonder. Exscientia is miles ahead of C4x it seems in terms of deal making

What does Eve's future look like? Competition is extremely fierce out there. Are we going to see consolidation/M&A activity in this area? cos eventually only the big enough for a few players with big marketing spend.

Lazy Gun, I disagree with your view. CEO if I remember correctly reading on the P&L only gets paid 54K salary... which is way below the level of market rate for listed company. I think this incentivises the CEO to stand as a serious shareholders. his 8.8Million shares puts him in par with similar amount Chairman holds.. The last small shareholders want is to be forced in to big discount and administration, so at this stage if costs are not reigned in the company only has enough cash (around 6-7 mil) for H1 2020.

Where will the money come from to sustain future of this business?

Just sharing.. was a holder when it was 400p and sold. Curiously followed this stock, now outside looking in... It is blatantly obvious that divi was preferred choice, orchestrated by Woodford (Biggest shareholder) as he demands cash. I believe Hawkeye was undersold due to pressure from Woodford Funds desperate demands for cash so that they can raise cash to lift the suspension of his fund. Raised $70 Mil in August.. and then discount sell for $65m 2 months later... a fire sale for hawkeye imo.

Share price turning negative.. earlier gains very quickly dwindle. I think investor expectation was higher for Hawkeye considering they just raised $70m 2 months ago in AUGUST!! so... the board was desperate to sell quickly. I assume this sale was pushed by the board with Woodford backing this strongly.

Prized asset sold.. no idea about the valuation of remaining assets... after sale (150mcap- 58m Hawkeye sale = 92m) market cap has put a value of remaining assets at 92m. Most valued is probably Federated Wireless but... seems like down ward trajectory with Woodford and Invesco biggest shareholders desperate for sale and cash...

Sell pressure will take this to a new low.. marketing burn and head count costs at this rate will require a capital raise and at this point they are not gonna get one without significant dilution. Company turnaround, costs cutting at the expense of marketing spend and correspondingly sales deterioration.

Awaiting the second commercial deal for NRF-2 activator programme application in COPD, PAH, Sickle Cell Disease.. if the deal is done, the company would strengthen it's position to the financial markets. Giving a much stronger position to raise further capital to invest in developing it's tech, pipeline and portfolio. Management needs to bag an amazing deal as quickly as possible as competitors with bigger bucks are soon catching on to this space.

But yes... I do agree a merger could add value to accelerating projects. Drug discovery space is very competitive with the likes of Benevolent AI, Exscientia both with big deep pockets are massive valuations. Not to mention the competition is global, especially in the USA with Atom Wise, Recursion, Deepmind, all have bigger bucks to invest in tech and projects... These gorillas are way more capitalised than AIM listed C4x and ETX... so it's a game of scale.

I doubt it would be a merger of equals, C4x Discovery has a 300m deal in the bag with another at late stage discussions expecting a deal by next year of similar size. ETX has not bagged any deal not proven it's tech works... In addition they have downsized their team to save on costs to fund their extravagant salaries. ETX has a lot of gaps to close in order to catch up with C4x... If ETX gets an upfront deal, I'll start to believe it. In the mean time I believe ETX relative value to C4x which is about half... is probs about right.

For 8 Million Market Cap.. in an industry that is growing. This seems like an attractive price for a takeover especially from a USA company looking to buy on the cheap from depreciation of sterling. Pocket money really...

They overpaid for this stock by a mile 140-160p in 2017 cos of their long standing relationship + association with Stobart Group and board. I believe Woodford buys are very much in conflicted and influenced by his sentimental relationships. 2 years ago when Woodford Fund paid for this stock, it was 2x overvalued compared to superior peers like Wincanton; arguably in comparison Wincanton peer has outperformed financially on all metrics: revenue, debt, profitability you name it. Yet they were half the market cap. IMO Woodford Funds seems to be very generous with pricing smaller cap stocks

This is another Neil Woodford holding... I can't imagine how he and investors are feeling right now... a ton of bricks crashing down.

CEO and CFO salary is 2x more than the peers at C4xd which market cap is 2.5x the size of this company. Annual salaries of the board account to around 800k when market cap is only 6.5m... Just seems like the renumeration needs to adapt with the times when Woodford Funds dry up... and results are not reflective.. At the very least if CEO and CFO are earning so much to have more skin in the game... Obviously interests are not aligned with shareholders.

With £££ sterling plummeting, Brexit concerns, UK focused cyclicals and concerns with marco environment, investors are naturally gonna exit. Fundamentals are still strong here.
