Ok, to give some further 'on the ground' insight. It's been a decent enough spell there, and initial info re internet and phone signal feedback was no issues whatsoever. Tonights conversation suggests this may have been a purple patch as the network has been sporadic at best for the last 5 days. How that works with a pre payment meter, I have no idea.

Here's an idea, believe every unfounded link posted on a website, do none of your own research and knock anyone who comes up with evidence that confirms the reasons why your company are not making the promised sales. Lose a shed load, and pretend all is well lol.

I haven't seen a confirmed line from EESL in the news Vas. I do try to post soon after I am confident with information. Believe me, I am only asking very straight forward questions.

For those interested, it is confirmed that all the tens of thousands of street lights that EESL are replacing, are outfitted with a Central Control Monitoring System. This programme has been running a long time, and continues at pace. Good news, they are using a control system, bad news, it isn't CC. This, from another little Birdie, before you ask : )

Ok, just read it again. What bit of it gets you excited Tony? It could have been written any January for the last 5 years from what I can see. I have just read an EESL report about the install contract on another huge lighting project, I am sure JC will let us know how much it's worth to CC.

It must be 10 years ago people in Uganda where on similar work. They were staying in an extremely remote village with little evidence of a basic electricity network. Virtually all villagers had old mobiles. There was a central village charge station and not a mast in sight. The charging point was Vodafone branded, and nobody had ever been charged for any service.

Another view from the ground, sorry. I have a colleague staying here, and travelling out to remote villages for the last 4 weeks. She is distributing educational items and clothing to children. Mobile communication out of every area has been absolutely flawless, day and night. Again, sorry if this doesn't fit with some.
