Hi Jake, thank you for trying. FWIW my view is the BoD here are out of their depth and have little idea what is going on or what to do about it. They do also get a VERY easy ride from shareholders, as their perpetual spin is accepted by so many.

For sure LTI, and it is good to see CC partners alive to the situation. It does show just how far off the isolated population are from grid connection, and absolute basic is the best they will get. With this in mind, the EESL decision to go SIM connected must look like a Rolls Royce option compared to what they have at present. I am truly struggling to see our market in India.

Errr, so cheap in India because they haven't any money !!. These are single panel units, dinner plate size Tony, forget Europe, India isn't Europe jees. They want a light bulb, and it won't be on the grid. Hundreds of Millions need this basic, do some proper research, and what the hell does Tesla have to do with it LOL.

Probably best you understand that real companies evolve when markets change and they take positions to benefit. Much like your knowledge here, CC are one trick ponies and it's becoming increasingly evident people are not that bothered in the trick anymore. Hi LTI, from what I understand, huge areas of the country are never going to get on the grid. Did anyone really believe that 100's of millions would be connected in the timescale India keeps dreaming about. The alternative is giving basic light and power through Solar generation. This can be a single home using just a bulb and maybe refrigeration, or a larger unit helping three or four homes. None will be connected to the grid, no bills will be sent by energy producers, but they will get the basics required through a really cheap rental or purchase. This equipment is dirt cheap, and solves the problem in a very short time. Notspots don't come into it, it is an easy answer and is happening right now in India and large parts of Africa.

I touched on this some months ago 'The partnership will work towards promoting the construction of local energy communities in Delhi, using local solar generation units and the self-consumption approach ' This is the last thing CC needs, but it is a very fast growing solution.
