I just don't see a future for primark in the current economic climate, they seem to have increased prices and costs, more competition and lower footfall.

FY results on Thursday, difficult to know how the market will view them if they are steady yet unspectacular as I expect them to be given the Christmas results.

The view of cost pressures and food inflation could be an issue for the forward view

28p is the half year dividend too, unlike some companies that have a smaller interim SL have an equal amount between the two so a 56p dividend against a 700p price is 8%

Imo Standard Life is a far more recognisable brand than Phoenix was so I like this tbh
