Do you not get a dividend certificate to offset it against your SA return which is effectively the same as UK dividend higher rate or do you hold them in other vehicles or are a UK tax non resident?

Looking at past figures I would be looking at lower than that based on a 66p eps.

Probably 19p full year dividend so about 28-29p including the interim, about 40-45% of eps

The figure seems to historically be below 50% of eps but I await to be pleasantly surprised.

If the Cushon deal goes through they may announce a special dividend for some point next year although I have not seen the agreed price

Forward projected earnings for 26/27 would be more crucial than the current year as long as it can demonstrate that they have had a solid Christmas period
