Only thought is that domestic homeware has been run down quite a bit, wonder where that would leave the GM section of the stores.

The reaction will be interesting on Monday to say the least, maybe it will free up some cash to look at cherry picking stores from morrisons that come up

RBC set out its preference order for the sector, "in the context of rising rates exposure", as Chesnara PLC (LSE:CSN), rated 'outperform'; M&G PLC (LSE:MNG), rated 'sector perform', Legal & General at 'underperform' and Phoenix Group Holdings PLC (LSE:PHNX) at 'outperform'.

I'm not sure whether a merger between ABDN and PHNX would make sense, they seem intrinsicly linked
