All retail has been hammered tbh due to fears over required cost rises and inflation feeding through into the UK customer base so they are all expected to make lower profits but M&S seem to be harder hit, maybe due to the market they operate in

After selling last year I'm going to get back in to these for a LTH for my pension. Hopefully solid growth and decent pipeline should underpin the current share price from here with fairly limited downside. I don't see a retracing back to the 15-1650 that the share was stuck in for so long

In the last year M&S took a hammering due to the cyber attack (for reference I hold Sainsbury, some Tesco and MKS) I think the upside for it is far higher than the other two despite the threat of discretionary spending being possibly more affected than true food retailers

Tbf Sainsbury's and Tesco got hammered by the threat of Asda starting (and failing) a price war
