SP talked down by gloomers and a negative permafrost! I think you are in complete and utter dreamworld B...each to their own but too lay the SP blame on negative holders or whoever else comes on the board and not at the company performance is shameful.....the company have failed in nearly every forecast for the past 10 years and they cannot even get a 2 month forecast within sight. Worse than that...their attitude towards pi's is nothing short of shocking and if your happy to defend it then maybe we get what we deserve!

I think it was bottom feeder dw was meaning. Whats going on with this adam bond, i emailed them more than a month ago and no sniff of a reply. Are they so completely dis-engaged with pi's now that they dont even bother reading the inbox or they have the mails set to auto delete. There must be something happening on the ground worth blowing the trumpet about or are they in surrender mode:)

N4...the ip will be worth nothing fella. No approval at this stage and there is no value in it for pi's...anyone picking it up would only take it for a song and likely cover debt and outstanding fees. Im not sure if the bod could entice someone in but i doubt it and they would probably want to walk anyway. Dont hold out much hope of the ip getting us anything....very highly unlikely imo.

Have to agree re the directors salaries and i am surprised that they have done nothing or not even communicated any cost cutting plan to the market. It does not show much confidence and looks like they are quite happy to hang everyone else out to dry but not themselves if the worst happens! I dont buy their loss of options....if its failure, well they are hardly deserving of them are they! This is life and death for pi's holdings....you would think they would at least take some responsibility.

Ive learned more here than i have reading all afc's rns. Your commited thats for sure...they used to do a newsletter, whatever happened to that? Emerging tech is a funny old game and it looks to me like everyone is focused on not showing their hand. Do no such thing! Let mtfb deal with the fda....their not concerned with disgruntled shareholders, it would only serve to antagonise them if anything:)

In the link that dr sandy just posted...lumsden mentions that the iclaprim dosage is 80mg for all except for these patients who show moderate hepatic impairment (liver disease or injury). Not being medically minded and trying to work out the above to the results of the liver toxicity between iclaprim v vanc in the subset. I have a feeling that the additional data required might be the complete medical history of the subset, the finite detail of how they responded during their treatment with iclaprim and possibly a review of how they are doing now, so no further trails but a statistical assessment along these lines. I think my view is 25% that this can be sorted easily, 50% that there is quite a bit more work to be done and 25% that no matter what, they will not approve iclaprim. These odds are pretty decent but we have been punished quite severly for not getting immediate approval.....then again, we just dont know!

More or less the same everyday, if you dont have any news to release then you wont attract much interest. As someone said the other week, the decision not to release mou is really hurting the sp and failing to generate any positivity. As such, its taking a very long time for the company to have something worth putting in an rns, especially when there is delays like southern...although the problems seem to be at southern's end this time. It will all come out in the wash at some point...or will it:)

No...a placing at this stage would need to be done quick. Its more important for me that the bod partake in the placing...that would at least be more positive for me.

I would hope that the crl was quite detailed or else its hardly worth calling it a complete response. As such, the bod should have a fair idea by now if they can make it...i think:) I do agree though....they will never say 'do this and we will approve'. I think thats whats at the route of the problem here, most of us thought that the chances of approval where very high because the fda more or less set the criteria for the new trial and it seems that iclaprim passed with flying colours. As they say.....you know what thought did:)

There's not a hope that you will get any of this out the bod at this point and even after they meet the fda, their statements will have to be very conservative. Failure to get approval calls into question the bods judgement in going for iclaprim again and after its got this far, it also calls into question the fda's selection criteria given that iclaprims performance is at least as good as vancs. The value of the ip after rejection would be very minimal, especially to a private company. Now, if someone with real money like gsk had a plan to park it or throw a lot more money at it, then it might be worth something to us but failing that inconsequential is my guess. Confidence from the bod would be shown in salary suspension or taking part in a placing....and i dont mean 20k's worth:) Good to see you back ivy....hope some news tomorrowin reduced costs. That was quite a damning article really...wonder why they bothered!

It does not quite make sense, he says they should have killed it the first time around....which, given the situation its in now might be correct....maybe the fda should have done that for us! But then he says management should sell the company and get the hell out....sell what if he is suggesting that its killed. So basically he saying, its not your fault bod but its become embarassing so sell it to some other mug, pay off the debt and get onto your next money making adventure....i mean really, thats the way that this lot think these days...sigh!

I have no interest to top up but your support of the bod is interesting....i have no doubt you will maintain it if the company goes into admin. Remember, they are walking away as millionaires, so they will lose a few options but it wont hurt them as much as the pi's and looks like they will make sure of that!

Kettle, Iclaprim is way way cheaper and your right, some of the big boys dont want to see it on the market. As such, some fda people and hospital doctors might be opposed to it also, money makes loyalty. So, you would hope that before going to nda, the liver tox would have been discussed to death...maybe it was and we are worried over nothing. But our position is very insecure and at least you would hope the bod do the right thing with regards to cash. The only money we should be paying now is too the fda agent...now thats desperate hhh.

There is no conspiracy...it is what it is. Remember...this is not the fda failing to approve iclaprim, this is mtfb failing to get iclaprim approved! The mtfb bod have made a massive failure here and now they are blind siding everyone and hiding under the supposed secrecy of the fda. The parameters for liver toxicity should have been very clear, if they were not then our bod have failed in this regard....they worked with the fda to agree the parameters for efficacy so its unthinkable that the liver tox was not also discussed. If it is a straight forward data issue...then that is a monumental mistake by the bod. Either way, they should take responsiblity for the mistake and do something decent. It does make you wonder if they were happy to gamble knowing that if it is a rejection, bye bye company and bye bye shareholders...too bad, some you win and some you lose. The resemblance to arpida is uncanny and you would not believe that a bod would make the same mistakes in a similar fashion.

Really thought the bod would have released some news this week regarding their aggressive approach to cutting costs. Mtfb shareholders are now in a dreadful position and largely brought on by our bod. Their failure to ensure that the business is properly capitalised for the event of a crl is catastrophic, not too mention that the dialogue with the fda previously has not highlighted the liver toxicity as being a stumbling block.....wether we agree that there is ifs and buts in both cases, one fact remains. Something has went wrong and they should have been at least partly prepared for that and now they should take some responsibility for the mess. We dont know, getting approval from here might be straightforward...or it could be that the fda were never going to approve iclaprim at all costs and always knew they had an ace the the liver tox...surely the small discrepancy between vanc and iclaprim was discussed previously with the fda? If all along we have been sold a goose and they were never going to approve, then we are in one seriously bad position now. There will be nowhere to go and no matter how much its costs to get through a p3, it will be a firesale for the ip to pay off the debt by the looks of things. Serious serious mis-judgement by the bod and its looking like they are shrugging their shoulders to me!

A loan would have to be announced to the market...i just can't see it myself but it would be good if RA started to become concerned with what is going on here. This is daily butchery and we seem to have a company and ceo who is aiding and abetting it. Not communicating mou's is tantamount to self destruction on the aim market but i would be a pound to a penny, every ii is informed every step of the way. And for that....they should be ashamed of themselves:)

Calamari, Mtfb's costs are very favourable compared to the comparative drugs on the market just now. Iclaprim is not liver toxic but a small subset during the trial did experience an increase in liver suseptability....but negligible to the current drugs in use. However, you have a point and fda might want to label it with a warning. To tell the truth, i dont think iclaprim deserves to be labelled but i would take that now if offered!
