Article in The Times today titled 'Britain on the offensive in race with China for crucial rare-Earth metals'. This includes copper, China currently produces 58% in total.

"The UK is in a global race to secure the rare-earth elements that are crucial for fighter jets, wind turbines and electric cars amid fears that China could use its monopoly of them as a weapon. Security agencies are concerned that there will be increased competition for scarce natural resources and that Beijing’s control of supplies could be used as leverage in any disputes."

I would have thought a copper producing mine in Canada will prove to be enormously valuable long term. We should be looking at a major re-rate here within a couple of years, max...

Sorry to be pessimistic, but they didn't say 'working days', & the lack of any positive news this morning may explain the massive share placing at 11p...

Either way, I'll be in for the long haul here. If positive from FDA it's the start of a long journey, if negative then not much point in selling up at 7p!

I suspect it's a case of IIs wanting more on the cheap, ahead of some news flow. I doubt it's IMM having news from the FDA on the application, but it could be IMM having an idea on Avion's funding commitment going forward...

I've taken the optimistic view and used the opportunity to average down slightly, but unless the news is outstanding, realising profits short-term will be difficult. The slightest bit of good news and the IIs will sell up again around 16p.

Completely agree with all of Eva's comments, Lansted selling just before this placing raises serious alarm bells in terms of corporate governance. Will be interested to see how Tim spins this one.

Thought IMM was finally going to come good, but if they need to raise funds through an 11p placing, presumably a further Lupuzor partnership is nowhere near emerging.

Share price will tank today.

No idea who Eva is, but I've followed Nolupus' advice in TILS, SNG and IMM for a while & benefitted hugely from it, so a big, big thanks. Could have paid for a small family car. Keep posting!

Think IMM will eventually come good, only concern is if Avion withdraw trial funding. We've seen no indication of that to date though, and announcements to date have been reassuring.
