Yes, it's good news that someone with a brain has joined the BOD.She is well connected with the science but unknown commercially. Also good news that Buck has been demoted although I would have preferred him out as he has done nothing for the business. I was also hoping to see Ford replaced as he has also presided over a gradual but inexorable decline of the SP over the last few years. The market seems indifferent to the news anyway!

I'm struggling to understand that apparent lack of interest by the market. I'm not going to go over all the positives and the challenges but the soaring demand for Nickel combined with falling stocks should be a driver for the SP yet volume is low and the SP well in the doldrums. What's the main issue? Is it lack of confidence in the finance?

Please get a sense of perspective. That buy cost £625.

Some people have seen very large sums of money transferred to the BOD. It must be galling to see £175k of one's money paying for the lifestyle of other people. A perfect transfer of wealth.

The abuse which has probably been sent to the BOD won't have improved sentiment towards shareholders. That's just human nature.They are probably thinking "stuff you lot!"

I tend to agree with your conclusions. I don't see this ending well and I say that as a modest holder.

Tired@confused, probably the most realistic post for some time.The BOD need to take on some of the pain they have dished out to the Shareholders.Perhaps they should withdraw their snouts from the trough and reduce their remuneration packages until they can show some tangible progress.If they don't, it's hard to avoid the conclusion that they are playing a cynical and despicable game with us.

I've seen this before and sometimes the Company ends up being delisted and taken into private hands for peanuts.

Re the interview, I always find RY to be very plausible and reassuring. It's also worth remembering how much of his life has been sunk into this project so I'm sure he wants to see it come to a satisfactory end asap. Also worth remembering that he is in his 60's so is probably ready to give up the considerable amount of travelling involved and long periods away from home.I thought he looked fitter than I have seen him look in previous interviews.
