RE: i would think the lack of good coms is on purpose21 Mar 2023 11:14
@sdon - I'd prefer they are scientists, but you also have to do the public face thing too....Managing the investors in your company is part of the job and if you just want to be a scientist then be one and let someone else be the public face of the company.
I thought that the lack of PR after the science day was apalling. Maybe there is a good reason for this....but if I was an II, i'd be looking at this and thinking 'typical AIM company'. II's want a return also and that's not by being 180p one week and a few weeks later being 80pc ish down because they can't communicate.
Being the CEO of a public company, and I do happen to think that AS is a good one (with flaws, but don't we all have), means that you are running the company and looking forward...that includes looking after your investor base.
I don't need RNS's every week, but he would have been better not having the science day. All its caused is a spike - partly down to PI's expecting more than they got....and I'm not sure that, other than (and this is important!) we know Pre|cision works - what we don't know is the commercial part of it. That is what is dragging this down, along with current sentiment.
I've been here for a few years and I'm not leaving until its sold. So whether its 180p or 114p is kinda irrelevant, but like everyone else, its great to see the SP up. This is just being battered by traders/short positions and MM now, because the company has allowed that to happen from lack of a 'news rich period'.
Sure it will come. Just needs, like all AIM stocks, patience.
