Peel Hunt are a bag of crap are raising money. They always have big discounts. They suss investors out what they are willing to pay. Where as someone like Richard Hughes, who is a NED at Avacta rings round and tells them the price and if they want to be in they have X number of hours to respond or they are out. Peel Hunt get their fee regardless, that's why they are crap. The co. Should give them a target to hit to get their percentage....it's easy money because the raise is going ahead regardless. Alternatively get a decent broker

He talks about other stocks but Avacta has ridden people for an awful lot of money due to previous management screw ups. How do i know, because eive been in it since 18p, over 6 years, and have seen nearly three quid and 50p more times than I can count.

Fairly sure that Myles sold down his position in avacta before Richard hughes came on board(not entirely but a lot). So if we are talking about stocks that Myles has sold down there is one for you.

The GKN co. proved up its manufacturing before being shut down. They produced a batch of magnets, I'm assuming to give the co. a valuation...That would be interesting

I don't think the cash gets released until they are admitted to AIM, as I remember from previous Retail raises

The reason the placing has a crap discount is because Peel Hunt just go around the same people sounding out what people will pay. Then they have to let the price drift to make the discount as palatable as possible...

Peel hunt are crap. They are a bucket shop broker. Add i to that professional investors who get sounded out and then obvs sell off to added at the placing price. All pretty crap but usual for AIM and. We all say it's.just AIM....well it shouldn't be.
