AIM never really values companies. It just allows events to be traded....

Why anyone uses them as brokers is beyond me....They have the same group of people that they approach for placings.

Avacta is a prime example. They couldn't raise money for Avacta when they were down at 30p - well not at an acceptable figure - Richard Hughes came in as NED and Zeus raised 30m plus in the last year at reasonable rates.

Unfortunately you have to ignore the day to day and charts and it will just go where the MM's find buyers and sellers. In AIM, they only understand financing, deal that inject money, or takeovers - and they sell into those anyway.. The rest is irrelevant. It's just how it is.

It's called choosing the wrong broker. Peel should never have had a look in.

They did a similar raise with Avacta and that screwed an awful lot of people over

The issue is Peel have no idea what they are valuing. So they just put around the stock and see what people are willing to pay and that's what the raise price ends up as.

A proper broker would specify the raise price and tell people if they are interested they need to confirm by a specific time.

Peel get their fee regardless so they don't care.

I really can't believe that the management were taken in by Peel, with the history of crap raises that they have

No they are just covering the bets made at spreadex with shares, so payouts are made from share sales when you cashout your bets. You've not been able to take a position on MKA with Spreadex for a while, IG even longer
